Tom Cruise Says That Every Girl Wants A NAZI Teddy bear? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

What's wrong with Tom cruise?....

he had an interview, and in the interview Tom holds up a NAZI teddy bear, and says, 'I'm going to give this teddy bear to my daughter Suri, because every girl wants her own NAZI teddy bear!!!!! He's CRAZY as hell!

And "surprisingly", the NAZI( I have to spell that word in all capitals to put extra emphasis on this situation) teddy bear looks like his character in Valkyrie(which sounds like a throwaway character from Star trek/Star Wars), with the one black eye patch and NAZI uniform and serious expression).... I am guessing that tom is giving Suri this as a souvenir that he was in the movie, but please, Tom, do not say that every girl wants her own NAZI teddy bear. He could have easily said, 'I am giving her this as a reminder of my character," which would have made a lot more sense!

Well, Col. Claus von Stauffenberg was NOT a NAZI and Tom Cruise is staining his name by saying a bear in his image was a NAZI bear; von Stauffenberg was a dedicated German soldier , but, disliked the German worker's party from the start:
von Stauffenberg would not become a Nazi and early on expressed misgivings about the regime, feelings that would become more intense as the National Socialists increasingly displayed their true colors. For example, he was appalled by the November 1938 Kristallnacht (Night of the Broken Glass), when in a single night the Nazis ransacked thousands of Jewish businesses and homes. He considered Kristallnacht to be a stain upon Germany. In fact, owing to this atrocity and many others, that year he became completely disillusioned with the Nazis. And he wasn’t alone in his feelings.
Tom Cruise should be ashamed, however, I suppose he was making a "joke"; albeit , a very innapropriate one!
