Today as we all know is a sad day for everyone as we remember Freddie who passed away 32 years ago today. I have been thinking of Freddie often and wondered what I would do personaly on this very day. My one thought was here on the boards. I know it has been very quite, I feared Freddie's memory was beginning to fade. Just as Freddie's life faded away from us so long ago. Thankfully new fans, who loved him have redicovered him though sites like these who allow us to share our feelings. Where ever you are, who are here in spirit but not physically. Thank you for still remembering him. Freddie may not be here physically but his spirit is among us and he is grateful that you are still remembering him today.

The years have passed and the memorie of Frederick Karl Pruetzel "Freddie"
has not diminished. I have personal thoughts on how much he is missed.
On this day, I have gone over countless apperances,interviews and articles in my collection. I have, if for a brief moment evoked the spirit of the "Prinze"
I am sure that many will continue to keep his memorie alive.

A new generation is watching "Chico and the Man" and learning how we can alll get along wether we're young, old, white, Chicano, rich or poor.
Thanks to Freddie, Jack Albertson and the creators of the show there is a legacy that has been left for future generations to enjoy and learn from.

When I was 9 years old I saw Freddie Jr in I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER. I remember thinking hes hotter than Ryan Phillippe, and there was something else about Freddie Jr that I couldnt put my hands on, until years later. Since seeing Fred Jr in IKWYDLS, i have always gone to see his movies in theater. Along the way I found out about his father. And then i found out that that was the thing that i couldnt put my hands on years before. Freddie Jr had the "IT FACTOR" that his dad had. You couldnt take your eyes off them. Because of Freddie JR I have become obsess with Fred sr. I have all the episodes of chico and a midnight special dvd with him doing stand up, the book that his mother wrote about him, the Tony Orlando book, and the movie "can you here the laughter." But today is a sad day, and freddie is greatly missed. I'm now 20 years old, and wish that i could of witnessed the majic of freddie talent when he was alive. If i could have a day with any celebrity that has passed away, it ofcourse would be freddie sr.

I was 10 when CATM started. I was a typical preteen, drooling over all the good looking celebs on TV and in my Tiger beat magazines. But it was Freddie who captured my attention like no other! He just oozed charisma and he seemed so at ease in front of the camera! I remember reading about the birth of his son, Freddie Jr in the teen mags. I was so saddened by Freddie's death in 1977; confused as to why... Over the years I wondered what that adorable baby, Freddie Jr was doing these days...
Fast-forward several years (sometime in the 90's)---I saw a preview for a movie with Freddie Prinze Jr. I couldn't believe it! I was pleasantly surprised to see Freddie Jr! So handsome and talented, just like Dad!

I remember watching the first ep of CATM as a teen. I saw it coming on after Sanford & Son & it looked good. So I watched ti & enjoyed it. I enjoyed & like the show but wasn't in love with Freddie. I remembered when he died. After the show went off tv, I never saw it again. The when TVLAND started showing the re-runs, I had to see it again & watched it & got into it. I keep watching & soon fell for the show & Freddie. I found the boards here & that further fueled my interest & new found love & interesting in Freddie & the show. And here I am. We miss you Freddie.
