A very haunted house

My favorite Unsolved Mysteries episodes were 'Rainboy' (concerning Donnie Decker, one who could make it rain indoors) and 'The Lady in White'. Along with those favorites I truly appreciated 'The Entity' produced by Sightings. Those were among the most well documented superatural activity I have seen. After viewing them I am encouraged because I realized that I am by no means alone in having encountered the supernatural.

I am not a paranormal investigator, psychic researcher, or a 'ghostbuster'. I am merely an unknown small town pastor who was asked by some people who had been attending our congregation to come help them with a very serious problem that developed in their home. In the early fall of 2005 they showed me some pictures they had taken of the evening sky just west of their house. The first few didn't seem out of the ordinary but a few of them had very unexpected results:

The one below taken at twilight. Sorry it is so blurred but it reveals how clear and dry the weather was:

The next picture reveals the same crescent moon but the house and trees are nowhere to be seen and a few orbs have appeared in the picture. But the next picture left us all befuddled:


Then there was the stunner:



They told me that not only were the conditions dry but that the camera lens was clean. So we were puzzled. So I put the picture through an infra-red process with an Acro-soft Photoimpression4 program and this is what we got:

But in addition to the dry conditions and clean lens, there were very few stars that appeared between the trees from the view the picture taker had that evening. Certainly most, if not all of the 'stars' in the picture are not stars at all.

Little did I realize when I considered these photos that this was just a hint at what was the beginning of a horrendous battle that the family would experience to maintain the calm and serenity of their home and their own sanity would be tested by a plethora of poltergeist activity that descended on them within a few months. Then in late December of 2005 I received a late night phone call from the owners of the house. They told me that 'all hell had broken loose' in the house and that glasses, jars, plates, and other objects were being thrown by unseen hands and broken on the walls or floor. They said that chairs and tables were being overturned and strange noises were coming from upstairs. This couple awakened their five children, ages 13,11, 9, 9, & 7 yrs old and gathered them into the living room where they were all huddled together and praying while the onslaught continued. I could hear the terrible noise of things breaking and furniture beng overturned and I could also make out what sounded like someone walked upstairs with very heavy boots. But the owner checked it out and he could find no one upstairs. I prayed with them over the telephone and asked the Lord to stop the attack. The poor family and their crying children were terrified by all of this. But the attacks finally stopped abruptly at 5 AM.

I traveled the 212 miles distance between our church and their home and attempted to help in any way I could. When I got there I discovered the family inside their maxi-van in the driveway. They were too frightened to even stay in their own house because of the things being thrown and candles being lighted by themselves. After meeting with the owners wife in the driveway I noticed one could see candle light through the basement window that appeared to be on the floor. We investigated and found a scene like this:


As I recall the very first 5-pointed star was green. I quickly snuffed out the candles and kicked them aside and then we painted the basement floor with white paint. This we had to do many times because the 5-pointed stars would seemingly appear out of nowhere. At first I wondered if some prowlers had been in the house but the stars kept appearing in the same places, in some cases within moments after we had turned and walked away from another white-washing job on the floor. We never found any evidence that prowlers had been in the house.

That such 5-pointed stars were connected with the occult has been challenged by some where I have made this public elsewhere because those who use the pentegram object to the idea that malevolant spirits cause such hauntings like I am describing here. But what the family found on the kitchen floor left no doubt that the stars in the basement were occult connected:


This event was discovered just moments after the family heard the noise of the drawers and cabinets being jerked open by themselves. Often we heard the crash of entire kitchen drawers being pulled open & dumped on the floor. The kitchen was ransacked many times as were almost every other room at times during the conflict.

I sat down with the family and began to tell them what it was they were facing: malevolent spirits like as is mentioned in the Bible. I told them that if they trusted God and sought Him for help that He would help them through this and eliminate those evil spirits from their home. They finally saw all of the evil entities removed from their home but it took approximately 1 1/2 yrs to accomplish the task. I traveled there about 10 times and covered about 4,000miles during that time. It was a very hard, very emotional strain on all of us but the Lord enabled us to see it through. One of the family members had a series of nightmares about a fox who called himself 'Halitt'. This fox, she told me, was attempting to divert her from her chosen path in life and he harrassed her and insulted her continually. Along with two other members of the household she was enabled to see 'Halitt' and that he was responsible for pushing her down the bottom of the stairs and jerking her hair out at times. This evil spirit left his mark by writing things in the mirrors of the house, always with a warning, insult, or mysterious message of some kind. The writing was always backwards and sometimes a weird symbol was added.



But then after once more finding a 5-pointed star painted on the basement floor we noticed a reflection on the knife blade.

The oppressed female who saw this told me that 'Halitt' is the one on the far left in the picture and the others are his demon comrades. One can make out what appears to be the upper right ear, face, shoulders, chest, and legs of a fox. But for a better view of other spirits that might have been caught in the picture I enlarged the englargement and got this:


If indeed these are malevolent spirits that were invisibly leering at us while the picture was being taken then their horrid nature is certainly evident. I counted at least six faces in the reflection...a reflection that vanished the moment the knife was picked up off the floor. Why a butcher knife would even leave such a reflection is itself a mystery. In time, we eliminated Halitt and his comrades by prayer and calling upon Jesus to send them to outer darkness. I would ask the readers to wait until I finish the story to formulate an opinion. I have not even gotten half through the account yet. I have video taped recordings of our actions in the matter along with testimonials I recorded of family members and friends who can verify that the incredible things mentioned above (& a lot more) actually happened as it is written. It will take me perhaps most of the day tomorrow to finish the story.

In the 'Rainboy' episode by UM and in 'A Haunting in Connecticut' (Echo Bridge Entertainment) the matter of levitation of both objects and human beings was observed by multiple witnesses. Below is a picture from the documentary of the latter:



That being said, in the late summer/early fall of 2006 the family in this story received a package in the mail with no return address. Inside was this unusual and very beautiful pendant.



We didn't know what to make of it and had no idea who sent it. But that evening, the pendant was observed in the downstairs bathroom floating about one foot in front of the mirror.



I suggested to the owners wife that she get pictures of it from every angle so she attempted to do so. Whatever was holding the pendant moved it slightly with every picture taken. Below is the straight-on shot. Notice what appears to be a string just above the pendant on the edge of the door but there is nothing above the door.


What appeared to be a string was merely a part of the door edge that was reflecting light. Other pictures revealed this stunning event. (Coming)

The reflection of the pendant is just out of the picture on the right side of the mirror.


After she had taken about a half-dozen pictures I commanded in Jesus name that the spirit in that was holding the pendant in the air to drop it and immediately it fell into the sink.


We took the pendant and destroyed it according to what the Christians did to occult objects in Acts 19:11-19. We figured the pendant had some spell or curse upon it and it certainly gave the appearance of an occult object.

We destroyed the pendant with a hammer but no sooner had we eliminated it than another pendant mysteriously showed up, this time around the neck of the owners wife.




She had a visiting friend tell her while they were talking on the front porch just how beautiful her necklace was. She thanked her but did not realize that one of her favorite necklaces had been replaced by the pendant. I had to tell her it was hanging around her neck. She was dumbfounded.

But after we destroyed that pendant also yet another similar object showed up in the home, this time it appeared on the desk directly in front of the owners computer screen.


This object had not been there moments before and no one could have entered the computer room without our knowing about it. It seemed that our invisible enemies were determined to get members of the house involved in the occult. Another package arrived with a small crystal ball inside along with a message from one who called himself by one of the names of the malevolent spirits that were troubling us. But no one outside the family, myself and my helpers even knew what was going on in the house so the arrival of this note with a strange message made quite an impression on us.


We also destroyed the crystal ball in accordance with the biblical teaching that objects of divination are forbidden by the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10). Each time we did this it took away more power of the evil spirits to inflict the house with terror. After the fall of 2006 the tide turned and we clearly had the upper hand. It became clear that the Lord was helping us through that dark hour and the family members were no longer afraid.

We discovered that there were tarot cards hidden throughout the 3-story house from the basement all the way to the attic bedrooms. We found them in the walls and hidden behind panels, some of which were so old they had become yellow. It appeared that some of the cards were made during the same late 1800's when the house was built.



But one of the ways these cards came to our attention was by materialization. The cards seemed to come out of nowhere and in many cases that simply fell out of thin air in front of us. This happened so many times that I tried to get video footage of the phenomena. It was terribly frustrating and the evil spirits seemed to be toying with me during my efforts. But I finally got one!

We found 78 tarot cards and destroyed them in the burn barrel in the back yard. Some of the family members testified that they could actually hear the evil spirits screaming as they were cast out upon the burning of the cards.

We also found a Ouija board between panels in the basement:


This board was also burned. We feel that Ouija's invite evil spirits to trick, deceive, and in some cases possess the person/persons who involve themselves in playing it, a la 'The Exorcist' which was based on a true story of a young man who became possessed while playing it. (more coming)

One of those who helped us in the matter traveled 1,200 miles to be with the family to pray with and encourage them during the matter. Her granddaughter came along with her but when they returned home they discovered that some of the evil spirits followed them home. Below is a picture of her granddaughter with unexpected results.


For skeptics who might claim that this was merely the camera strap: It was a small throw-away type that had no strap.

But the one event that really tested the limits of credulity causes me to explore the subject of 'shadow people' sightings and vanishings. That is, people who have testified that they saw what looked like solid, physical human beings who suddenly vanished or blended from the physical to a non-physical existence. Such was the case of the man who took the picture below after an earthquake in Japan. The man who took the picture was merely getting photos of the wreckage. He wasn't looking for spooks:

These 'shadow people' walked right up out of the cracks in the ground and eventually vanished from his sight.

Then there was this:


The man's grandmother was taking a picture of a nice beach scene. She could see the dark figure in through the camera but not with the naked eye. The figure nonetheless appeared in the picture. Notice the shadow the figure casts upon the wet beach sand.

We encountered a similar thing during our conflict with evil. In late summer, 2006 I received a call from the owners wife who told me that she saw a man across the street from the house standing in the cemetery just staring at the house. I asked her to describe him and, having just reviewed a Hollywood movie entitled, 'Underworld Revoltion' I recognized in her description some similarities to a character in the movie who was called 'Lucas'. I quickly copied, pasted, and e-mailed her a picture of him and asked her if he looked familiar:



She said he looked exactly like what I had just sent her. Her oldest daughter confirmed this so I told them to get a picture of him. She attempted to do this but as she raised her camera to get a picture the man moved forward to her left, seemed to transform into a shadow-like substance and vanished over the roof of her neighbors house. The picture you see below was sent to me within moments of this event:


It looks somewhat like that of a flying bat from a side view. I am by no means suggesting that the apparition they saw was the actor in the movie.

Incredulous? Yeah, you might say that. More than once through this ordeal I thought I was living in the Twilight Zone. There are a few more pictures I wish to post concerning this matter.

Yankee, I am a devout Christian. And, I have lived in a haunted house from 1979 until 1994. It doesn't make me an expert, but I have dealt with *real* evil. (As did anyone who lived in or visited that house) I think what you have here is a hoax.

One of the big clues that it's a hoax is the fact that your "evil spirit" named Hallit, writes backwards in the mirror (which I guess is kinda cool) but he spells like an illiterate moron.

I'm certainly not saying that I respect satan and his evil minions, but I do think they know how to spell in every language in which they are trying to terrify their victims.

Your spooky doom guy should have said this: Hurt to pain, you're insane.

He mispelled insane and used "your" instead of "you're" as in "you are insane".

I won't get into debunking the rest of the pics right now, but some of them are the most amateur fakes I've ever seen. And I've been studying about this stuff since 1979, when I first realized I was being haunted, and I started looking for ways to get rid of the thing.

I'm with you. While I believe in spirits, good and evil, I call bored teenager on this one.

Among other things:
Why is there white paint splashed ON TOP of the red star?
The picture he claims is not a camera strap is CLEARLY either a camera strap of the cord on a hoody sweatshirt.
Satan can summon 100 year old tarot cards but the Ouija found is a Parker Brothers one?
A pentacle drawn with a sharpie around a cup of tea? That's one way to show the evils of caffeine, I guess.
The fact that 78 cards were found, despite them having been hidden in the house for over a century? I find it hard to believe that at least one of the cards wasn't lost.
