Default Chairs in the upstair hallway

Ok can someone tell me why The Bradys had chairs in the up stairs hallway? They was always there when ever they showed the hallway. You can also see them when ever we had a shot of one of The Bradys bedrooms. In the back ground you can see a chair sitting out in the hall way.
They had more then one chair sitting out in the hallway too. Just thought that was a bit wierd. Never been to someones house and they had chairs sitting out in the hallways before.

I have noticed the chairs. I think maybe if Alice wanted to put the bag on it like she did in one episode or one of the kids carrying something and have to open the door.

And maybe it's kinda like a decoration so the hallway doesn't look so bare.

And when ever someone used the bathroom they had to walk around and lock 3 doors. The door to the boys room, the door to the girls, and the door to the hall. Wow thats alot of doors to lock! And then after you have to unlock them. By the time you get done in the bathroom you are worn out from all the locking and unlocking you had to do.

I was noticing this recently when I saw a local syndie (not TVL) rerun of Getting Greg's Goat. This is IMO a great ep, but I wanted to scream "Why do you idiots have chairs in the hallway?". Of course these chairs helped complicate matters when Greg is trying to walk Raquel the goat down the hallway, as he had to carry her front paws over a chair just to walk her down the hall. I'd think those chairs would be a bad obstacle for anyone walking down the hall at night, but then neither the parents nor the kids had to go through the hallway to get to the bathroom.

Some people hang pictures in a hallway.

The Bradys put out chairs.

You have to remember this is a merger of two households. So the chairs in the hallway are likely an attempt at making use of excess furniture.

This was my thinking too. However, they could have sent them with all the other attic junk to the charity bizarre.
