I've always loved those ads!

And they were good too - to this day when I start seeing "Back To School" stuff being advertised that ditty goes through my head - more than even at Christmas!

The first time I saw this commerical, I'd just graduated from college. Had I still been in school when they started running these ads, I would've really hated them.

I remember that commercial! It is a classic. I also loved the one with that guy from Kiss going back to school shopping with his daughter. "I thought you said school was out forever." "Uh no, I said school was out for summer."

Actually he isn't from Kiss. The guy you're thinking about is one of my favs - Alice Cooper who wrote and performed "School's Out".

OMG, I loved that commercial, too!! Alice is just too cool!

Oh yeah, and in going with the thread, love the other Staples commercial, too! I feel exactly the same way when late August/September rolls around.

Be careful what you wish for!! It seems Alice is game for anything!! I'm sure you've seen his commercial for the Marriott(I think it is). He asks the guy "Do you want your kid to grow up to be a weirdo?!" Funny Stuff!
