Did VTV (Variety TV) go off air? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

It looks like variety tv owned by newport communication went off the air. WXXA 23-2 which is a newport station has replced with infocommerials. The station showed the Jack Benny show, Ozzie and Harriet and The Lucy Show. Can anyone confirm the network is no more?

wikipedia says its off the air, but VTV's website is still up and running and doesn't say anything about being off the air.

Newport still list the VTV subchannels next to their broadcast channels, but no longer have any other reference to VTV on their website. WXXA has definitely stopped broadcasting VTV. Anyone in other VTV markets, is it now off the air?
