By even bringing it up he is saying they will win the SB

I certainly wouldn't want anyone to pour a tub of gatorade on me. It's a stupid tradition. And haven't some coaches gotten pneumonia from it?

It's kind of corny now anyway, it was a big thing back in 86 when the Giants started it and then everyone just started copying them ever since. I think it needs to end

I haven't heard about coaches getting pneumonia but I would hate having gatorade dumped on me because it would be really sticky.

I assume that there are showers in the locker room so coaches can take one.

I don't think he is saying they will win the SB.. He;s just saying he doesn't like Gatoraid poured on him. One thing about Tomlin, he doesn't underestimate his opponents. He will have his players ready, come game time.

but it's done right before you get in the shower. It's not like it's done in the beginning of the game

I agree, he's just giving them a warning incase they do win. And I don't blame him one bit, I'd hate for that to happen to me, especially In a cold environment.
