Default What's with the board color?

The new bright blue color of the boards is killing my eyes.

it's the 10th Anniversary of Sitcoms Online today, so Seth created a special theme for it.

Can I change it on my end? I think it's horrible.

i think its a temporary thing, but there isn't any way to change it on your end.

...unless you are using Firefox, which if you are you could go to the View menu, and under Page Style, click on No Style. This would render the pages without using the style sheets, which would give you no colors, but also no borders or seperators and make the pages look really weird.

just talked to Seth, the colors are here to stay - unless he receives a whole lot of negative feedback about it.

A significant majority of users would have to dislike the new look; as it stands the new look actually seems to be more popular on debut than the old one was when *it* debuted.

I love how these kind of threads attract people who would never post to the Unsolved Mysteries section otherwise.

Ahh, yes, as part of your moderator duties?

I have a feeling that the real UM moderator crystaldawn will have a feeling at what I am getting at here...

I'm sorry, guys. I'm not trying to cause trouble. I only complained because it's so bright that it hurts my eyes. I need something softer. I'd hate to have to leave the board because of something like this.

nope, there are some cases that I am interested in and try to follow - nothing ulterior about it.
