Shocking News! :Four Stabbed at Brooklyn 'Notorious' Party - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

NEW YORK - A club party in Brooklyn that was supposed to be a celebration of the late Notorious B.I.G. and the biopic 'Notorious' that honors him turned into a melee when four partygoers were stabbed.
Police said Saturday a 21-year-old victim stabbed numerous times was in critical condition at Brookdale Hospital. Three others were stable.

The Djumbala club is in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn. Police did not immediately release further information.
While the party had been promoted as the "official" after-party, "Notorious" distributor, Fox Searchlight, said it was not related.

Smalls was born Christopher Wallace and also used the stage name "Notorious B.I.G."
His debut CD, 1994's "Ready to Die," helped re-energize East Coast rap. He was killed in Los Angeles in 1997.

I heard the premiere party for Paul Blart: Mall Cop was just as crazy!

Except they didn't have all the stabbing.

And Biggie Smalls was such a musical force to reckoned with that he had a biopic in his honor with a movie party which ended in a bloody fashion. Go figure. Some "music" is NOT that worth dying for.

well considering the links made between rap music and crime, i suppose it's hardly surprising why things like this happen. very sad though
