The Only Way

Starring Luke Wilson and Owen Wilson as two middle-aged, longtime bachelors who are about to inherit their wealthy, dying grandmother's inheritance. But there is one stipulation before they can get their inheritance, both brothers have to give up their bachelor lifestyles and settle down and get married and start a family first. Owen Wilson plays Eric Miller, a 38-year-old high school teacher who's perfectly content with juggling women and bouncing from bed to bed without regret. Luke Wilson plays Brad Miller, a 36-year-old crises manager for a big corporate crises management firm who's life of bachelorhood was kicked off by being left at the altar once by his "love of his life" and former high school sweetheart who left him scorned and heartbroken. Both Eric and Brad are truly honored to about to be left their beloved grandmother, Grandma Rose (Betty White)'s wealthy inheritance but now have to give up the life they know and have grown to love if they want the inheritance otherwise the money goes to a random charity within a year of Grandma Rose's death. Recently, Grandma Rose finds out she has six months to live. While Eric and Brad have each other for support, sometimes that just isn't enough and are in need of support from their friends as well. Eric's newly-married co-worker and fellow teacher, Greg Danes (Bill Hader) is there to help give advice to his friend while maintaining being "whipped" by his aggressive, opinionated wife, Karen Danes (Kristen Wiig), whom shares a love-hate friendship with Eric. Brad's junior associate and friend, Dylan Fletcher (Chris Pratt), who Brad sees as a younger version of himself, and Brad's bubbly, forever-smitten personal assistant, Madison Monroe (Isla Fisher), who's been madly in love with Brad since day one yet he's oblivious to it, both are there for Brad and willing to help him whether at work or outside of work. Around the office, Dylan and Madison are nicknamed "Brad's groupies" amongst the other managers, junior associates, and personal assistants. Also, the Miller brothers are forced to deal with their estranged father, Ted Miller (Robert Wagner) who has not had the best relationship with either of his sons since his wife (their mom) died of breast cancer close to 20 years ago. Watch how both Brad and Eric battle giving up their bachelor lifestyles while in the process of setting down, getting married, and starting a family in the next 18 months in order to inherit their inheritance.
