The Food Cridict - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

One episode that I really liked was the one in which Jack attempted to cook a meal to impress a local food cridict. When he was getting ready to receive the man, he had forgotten that he had a date with a lady named Cloie that night. Cloie was disgusted with the situation to the point to where she ran into the bathroom, slammed the door and locked it. With the cridict due any minute, Jack was very nervious in the service. Sizing up the situation, Janet says "poor Jack"!

Terri responds to what she says with, "poor Jack, what about poor me"! Janet asks her what she means by that. Terri says, "I have to go to the bathroom!" After much ado, Cloie leaves the bathroom and goes into Jack's room. Terri responds with "thank God" and goes charging towards the door! One thing that I remember about Terri is that she had on a bluish-gray pair of slacks that I thought were to die for! I thought that they did a great job of showing off her long sexy legs! A babe like Terri in pants like those zooming across a room was a site that I thought was too good to be true!

Yes. I would say that if I had to pick of favorite, I would go with Terri. She seemed to have a lot of independence as well as a good sense of humor. On top of that, I thought that she was filled with decency!

I liked Terri, and I think it was cool that she was totally different from Chrissy and Cindy. That's the main reason the character worked, and one reason why the show lasted as long as it did. By the same token, Furley was much different than Mr. Roper.

Your not kidding. Mr. Furley lived for sex (too bad he never got any) and Mr. Roper acted like if he never had sex again it would be too soon!!!

In the episode "Night of the Ropers" she just pretended to be cheating with Mr. Furley to make Mr. Roper jealous.

I am bringing this thread back to the top to see if I can stimulate any more conversation. In the first place, I would like to read more from people who remember the scene in which Terri shouts out "Thank God!" and goes charging towards the bathroom! I thought it was great! I thought that the character of Cloie was a little unreasonable and quick to jump to conclusions. None the less, I thought that appearance wise, she was very close behind Terri! I especially liked when she laied on Jacks bed fully clothed. Those black leather boots that she had on really hit the spot!

Yeah, Terri was the best of the blonde roomates with Cindy 2nd and Chrissy a distant third. Chrissy dumb act was getting very stale long before she left.

But you got to give kudos to Janet as the best roomate after Jack OF COURSE.

The show would've NEVER EXISTED if it wasn't for John Ritter!

Because of how much action this page seems to be getting, I have decided to bring another old thread to the top of the page. I would be very interested in what other people think of the situation in which Terri shouted "Thank God" and went charging towards the bathroom! I thought that the way that she moved in those sexy little slacks was priceless!
