Some flubs I noticed in various episodes... - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

In the episode: "And Baby Makes Two" the trio have plans to go skiing, and Jack is very enthusiastic about it. However, in "Downhill Chaser", Jack does not know how to ski, and is afraid he will be injured.

In "Jack's Uncle", Uncle Fremont addresses Jack as his favorite nephew. Jack responds by saying: "I am your only nephew." But, later on, we meet Jack's brother in the episode: "Lee Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother."

I am going to have to say that those two inconsistancies are two that I have thought about an awful lot! In the skiing episode Janet mentions that Jack has only been on skis once before in his life and he was a total cluts then. However, back when he and Chrissy were going for the weekend, he acted like someone who was very confident about it. I have attempted to suck countless people into conversations about the one about Jack being his Uncle's only nephew! That reality was completely overwritten in the one where we meet his brother! I have debated with my mother about whether there is anyone else in the world who is nit-picky enough to pick that one up. I am almost tempted to pick up the phone and call her in Maryland! However, because of how late it is, I think that it can wait until morning!
