Default Did Anyone Like "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor"?

I finally saw this last night. I loved The Mummy and The Mummy Returns but this did not feel like a Mummy to me.

First of all I did not like that Rachel Weisz was not back in her role of "Evelyn". Maria Bello just didn't have the same chemistry with the rest of the cast as she had.

Brendan Frasier "Rick" and John Hannah "Jonathan" were so underused in this movie. Their jokes were not in the same calaber as in the 2 previous installments.

Playing "Alex O'Connell" was Luke Ford. Brendan Frasier and Maria Bello looked like they could pass for an older brother and sister of "Alex"; not the parents. In real life they are 13 years apart in age. This did not work at all.

I love Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh but I have no idea why they bothered with this movie. I understand this is not a "martial arts" movie but Jet Li's actual fight scenes could have been better than what he did in here.

This did not feel like a Mummy film at all and it was unnecessary.

Tell you the truth, I only liked the first one. I didn't like the fact that they were saddled with a kid in the second flick (who got WAY too much screen time). At least John Hannah was in all of them - I loved his character, who was such a weenie.

I saw The Mummy 3 a few weeks ago, and it wasn't that great.

With Rachel Weisz out of the picture, things were not the same.

I saw it. The Rock had played a small role in The Mummy 2 as The Scorpion King, and got his own movie in 2004. It wasn't bad, just forgettable.

It was by no means a good movie, but I've seen far worse.

I heard Maria Bello's acting in the film was awful.

So did I - but to be fair, it doesn't sound like she had a good script to work with anyway.
