Don't ever save something you might be interested in for another day. If you find it on youtube, enjoy it then. I had a great Jim Croce song on there that I had taken off of vinyl. It was enjoyed by many and then removed by the powers that be. Sorry I missed After MASH. I've heard that it was a good show and that it was laughably bad. I'd like to form my own opinion.

Magellan333,
You probably won't want to know you missed seeing Radars wedding either then. There is also a return visit by Col. Flag in a court scene with Klinger. Sure hope you can find another source to enjoy these classics. Who knows if CBS or who ever owns them now will ever release them to dvd.

Cool

I watched the Aftermash pilot on youtube last night. As a regular viewer of MASH it was fun to see a few(Potter, Klinger, and Mulcahy) of the MASH regulars in a completely different setting. I thought it was pretty well done and I am surprised the series didn't last longer.

Default After MASH

Many of the episodes I watched were quite good. Perhaps if only the network had given it a bit more time, it could have blossomed like MASH did. We should consider the major effect Alda had on MASH and his absence from this show may have been the reason for it's short life. The guest appearances by Radar and Flagg were priceless and must have given the ratings a boost but not enough for it to continue.

It seems that a special feature release could be done that would include W*A*L*T*E*R and After M*A*S*H and maybe even Goodbye, Farewell and Amen.

That sounds like a good idea. Show the ending of M*A*S*H and then the shows that came from it. They could even include some episodes from Trapper John MD. But, knowing my luck, that will never happen. I wish that youtube would leave those videos up so that we could see them.

While these all seem like very good ideas to us, it would seem the owner of these videos does not smell enough money to make it worth re-releasing. Perhaps they are using the sale of the MASH DVD sets as a barometer and those sales weren't what they expected ?

You Tube had no choice (legally) but to take them down as the poster did not have legal rights to upload them. You've all seen the warnings "thou shalt not" etc....
