I think they did a pretty good job introducing the characters Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl, Lightning Lad - hopefully they'll bring them back for an episode or two in the future.
...of course it would've been even nicer if they could have brought back Kara for a Alexz Johnson/Laura Vandervoort Instant Star sisters reunion; Supergirl does eventually go into the future and join the Legion, so it could still happen. |

I was really impressed with the episode. I remeber the Legion from the comics and am glad they were introduced. Maybe, if Smallville gets a 9th season, they will make a return appearance.

I enjoyed it, too. I thought they did a good job introducing Kal-El to his
destiny, without giving away too much information about things to come. It was kind of cool how they all knew about Lana Lang, Lois Lane and "even Jimmy Olsen" but nothing of Chloe Sullivan (who, of course, didn't appear in DC Comics before the Smallville comic). And it was neat how Clark Kent taught these heroes from the future that saving a human life at all costs should be their first rule. |
