It's a pity she looks so old now. She hasn't aged well at all.

Not to be mean but I have to agree with that, she looks older than she actually is.

I do think the haircut makes her look older. If the hair was a little longer.
I do think the same with Julie Andrews . Julie's hair looked better in her Sound of Music days. The last ten years she has had the clipped look.

I guess Patty remarried Richard after the movie "Still Rocking in Brooklyn Heights".

She is 62, but in the video she looks more like 75. I agree about the hairstyle making her appear older, she could use a makeover.

Whoa She sure hasn't aged well...but then it has been 45 years (yes, four decades plus) since The Patty Duke Show premiered although it seems more like 20 years. Time seems to be flying now and I am only 37. Very scary. She also may have something wrong with her. I don't know why I say that but it is just a feeling I got when I watched that video clip. Since I only watch shows from the 1950's through the 1970's anymore I guess I never think of the people in them aging. William Schallert (who played her father in the series) is still going and he will be 87 soon.

She underwent single heart bypass surgery in 2004 so it probably took its toll on her.

Yeah, I just read that this morning on IMDB. That very well could do it. I still have to give her credit though for making the commercial and using a theme we sure all remember.

When I went on Wikipedia to see what they had on Patty I saw the Soc Sec links. Those commercials are very charming and Patty is in fine form! If you haven't seen them check them out!
