23-11 win over the Giants today. We stopped the run overall, stopped Eli and only held their offense to around 6-9 points, with 2 more points for the Giants on a defensive safety.
Great game defensively. SAMUELS had a pick, almost took it to the house, 2 yards short, then gave us the TD. Buckhalter, Kevin Curtis & Jackson had a nice game. Great game by Stewart Bradley, Akim Jordan and the defensive line. Sheldon Brown had a couple nice, big hits in the cold weather. I'm so impressed with the play and kicking of David Akers recently. He kicked a couple FGs and extra points into the wind for a good amount of time in the game today. Hey, it wasn't pretty, and I don't have much to say, but we're in the NFC Championship game, vs. the Cardinals in Arizona! Normally I would congratulate the opponent on a well fought game, but well, hell, I HATE THE GIANTS, so screw them, their stadium, their pink ass coach & their franchise. WE WON today. Looks like that NFC East title didn't mean **** for you, Midgets. Anyways, great game for the Birds today. Next Sunday, the Championship game at Arizona, for a trip to the Super Bowl! I'm pumped. Let's Go Eagles. Anybody else think this game was rather odd? A lot of penalties, weird plays. Plus, 23-11 is a weird score for a game anyway. |

It's possible. I don't know if I should take the Cardinals seriously, but they are still alive, and they knocked off a good Panthers team in their house.

Couple of things to say, and I won't say any stupid stuff:
1. This will be only the second time ever the Eagles play an NFC Title game on the road. To my knowledge, they played in 4 NFC Title games at home (1981, 2003-2005). 2. This will be the second year in a row the NFC Title game is a rematch of a regular-season game Also: Which of Philly's pass-catchers is the most important player? In other words, who is the one guy who you would say, "McNabb MUST get him the ball." |

If anything, it reminds me of their December game- low-scoring, cold, lots of toughness. |

Yeah Chris, the 4 games we had at home, we lost 3 of them LOL. I am fine with going on the road for an NFC Championship game lol, think about it.
And Mike, I agree. Cardinals are a great team that no one took seriously, and they ended up beating the Cardinals, by a lot. But I will also say we beat the number 1 seed. They beat the number 2 seed. Not taking anything away from them or talking crap, just pointing out. I think the next game could go either way. |

I'm going to talk about a few key matches on both sides:
1. Both teams have some very good offensive lives, which can be tested by some defensive players that are a threat to make sacks (Trent Cole, Carlos Dansby). Also, there are big-play defensive players (Asante Samuel, Antrel Rolle, Dominique Rogers-Cromartie) that have the ability to change a game's outcome. How important is O-Line protection and big-play defensive stars going to be? 2. Both teams are not well-known for having superstar tight ends. How important will it be for them to get the ball? 3. Both teams have superb kickers- Akers and Rackers. Could the kicking game decide the winner? |

We have no superstar tight ends lol.
LJ is horrible and Celek dropped like 100 balls today. But yeah, I agree with your assessment of next week's game. |

Another important factor is if Boldin plays next week. I doubt he will, especially since he didn't play one minute of last night's divisional game.

BTW, you need to make a signature change. It still says "Go Eagles- vs. Vikings."
Obviously, that needs to be changed to Cardinals |

Congrations Eagle fans!!!!!! The Eagles will make it to the Superbowl, it would be cool to see the Eagles win the Superbowl the same year that the Philles won the World Series, just like Boston Celtics and Red Sox won last year and at least I could say, at least the Vikings gotten defeated by a Superbowl Championship team, hopefully it's the Vikings turn next year...the Vikings just need a franchise Quarterback...

If he could play that well on Miami, imagine what he could have done with Adrian Peterson! |
