That's a great article. You know I admit I wanted Wade over Turner. I never thought either one of them were great coaches and I still don't. But you have to give Turner all the credit in the world. He's gotten his team to play in December the last 2 years and his team never quit on him. You can't say that about the Cowboys. The best line in the article BTW was Tony, for your own good, why don’t you shut the bleep up. I wish he would. His I don't give a Damn attitude is going to lead to quick exit from Dallas if he isn't careful.

Yeah and it's a funny thing cause the fans wanted Phillips to take over for Marty if Marty ever left. Well, he did but then Wade and Cam was already gone.

It's interesting too cause I look at his coaching record with the Redskins and Raiders.

Most of the years it's at .500 or below .500 for a few years.

He never had two straight seasons where he got the division crown. It was all over the place really.

Not counting the Chargers... I don't know if it's the players with the Redskins or the Raiders, well, has to be the players for the Raiders. He had Randy Moss for a year or so!!

Norv's record

To be fair, those were not talented teams.

Neither of Oakland or Washington's players can compare to Rivers, L.T, or Mr. Lights Out.

Norv is a guy that, when his teams has actual NFL-caliber talent, can do well.

But nobody to get him the ball.

The QB play was, and still is, a joke for the Raiders.

Not since Gannon or Hostetler have they had a decent signal-caller.

If you don't like Romo so much, then how about getting Derek Anderson?

I'll take him. I'll take anyone that wants to win over someone who doesn't give a damn anyday. Romo better shape up. The last 2 games of the season, Romo played as bad as I've ever seen him. He is regressing.

I just hope he doesn't turn into another Ryan Leaf.

I just did a search for Ryan Leaf and he played or well, he was with the Cowboys in 2001.

I remember that...not one of the Cowboys' greatest moments.

Let me say something about Romo. I like him personally. He seems like a great guy. He was not even drafted and he came out of nowhere and ended up in 2 straight Pro Bowls. That is to be commended. But I've also had problems with what he does both on and off the field. I'm sure he wants to win but something just isn't right with him anymore. I don't know what it is. He doesn't seem to be having any fun. Derek Anderson had a great season a year ago and he regressed this year to what he really is. Does anyone know what Tony Romo really is? I mean, he is an above average Qb...you can't make him a great one because he hasn't done anything yet to put him up there. I have seen him regress the last 2 years and this year down the stretch was the worse I ever saw him. He looked completely lost in that Philadelphia game. He did score twice in the 4th quarter of the Raven game but they were playing more of a prevent defense at that time. Someone on one of the other forums made a good point. Whatever happened to the QB who was so devestated after the Seattle playoff game? It seems like he doesn't care anymore. Losing the last 2 years to big rivals like the Giants and Eagles hurts and it should make the players wake up but it seems like nothing will.

Anytime a QB justifies a INT as a PUNT then he needs to GO. When ROMO said that he proved to me he was slightly ******** in regards to football.

I don't care if a QB is on the 50 yd and throws a pass that is PICKED OFF on the 1 yd line you never as a franchise QB say-"WELL IT WAS KIND OF LIKE A PUNT"

Your goal has a QB should be to score on every single possession and not throw INT's not try and make fans see the BRIGHT SIDE Of the Interception.

I bet Jerry is kicking himself in the head because Norv won a playoff game and Wade hasn't but I could never understand why Wade Phillips, Norv Turner, and Dick Jauron keep getting head coaching jobs, they are awful
