Default David Chase Murder--New links

Hey all, long time no see! Miss you all! Anyhoo, one of my all time fav cases is the David Chase murder. I did a little research today and found some links that discuss the work that David and his wife Judi did for orphaned children and such. The second site goes into their history together, all the way back to Judi's modeling days and birth in New Zealand. Great links.

Such a sad case IMO, as had always thought it was obvious that Matt Orahoske did it, but apparently they just can't link him. The second link goes on to state that David was murdered but it was concerning the info he and his wife knew about child porn rings, crime rings and things like that. Not sure how reliable the source is but it's an intersting read.

(towards the bottom of this one discusses David and Judi's life together)

Let me know if you check them out.....

These links no longer work. Is there any updates on Davids murder?

If you don't see any update posts using the search tool on the forum or on UM wiki, the answer is likely no. We tend to be pretty well-informed on here, luckily.

My money is on the "friend" who changed his story multiple times.

Yep. Dude was totally sketchy. I'm convinced he murdered David for the money that was in his pockets.

I take it you're talking about Matt Orahoske?

Whenever the family member or friend of a loved one who has died a suspicious death goes from a sound, logical theory (like Keith Warren's family believing he accidentally died at a party and his death was made to look like a suicide), to a completely insane (IMO) theory ("Keith Warren was lynched because he dated a white girl even though the sketchy people looking for him before he died were black"), I have to consider that there is more to the story that is not being told. That's no different than with the David Chase case. I was firmly in the camp that believed David was murdered by Matt Orahoske for the $1800 he cashed on the day he disappeared. But then I came across a website from 2009, in which David's widow claims that the Colorado Government murdered David from what he found out with regards to corruption within the local county government:

Quote:
David Chase was kidnapped, held hostage, sexually abused, tortured, and finally murdered, and later dumped into Bear Creek, where his body was found 47 days later.
His widow also claimed that, the PI who says David spoke to him from beyond the grave "lost his life as well", hinting that he too was killed because he was getting too close to this alleged corruption. She continues:

Quote:
Other Private investigators have uncovered extensive evidence documenting the fact that David Chase was murdered to make it easier for this trafficking network to procure legal custody of the twins, and to silence him to prevent him from revealing what he knew about their operations concerning a large child-trafficking/child-pornography network, as stated in the ‘Andre’ Affidavit.

There is a vital, crucial question raised by this attorney, who stated in the affidavit, “This is of grave concern and indicates the need to investigate whether or not the judicial court process [in Jefferson County, Colorado] was corrupted in order to insure that foster children could be procured for illicit activities, etc.”
She then bizarrely tries to tie David Chase's death in with Jon Benet Ramsey and Columbine. Now I get trying to get as much attention to your loved ones case as possible, but this stuff just seems insane to me. You can read the post that she wrote here.

It's maddening at how this case was seemingly closed as a death by misadventure. The "river" was a creek that would not have been any deeper than 2-3 feet. Unless there was flooding, the current would not have been strong at all. It's not even something that you would be able to swim in because certain areas are shallow or have rocks everywhere.
