'Cheers' Tops TV Theme Song Poll
The hit theme to 1980s sitcom Cheers has topped a new poll of beloved TV tunes. Songwriters Gary Portnoy and Judy Hart Angelo's "Where Everybody Knows Your Name" beat the "Suicide Is Painless" theme from M*A*S*H and the tune to Sanford And Son in the new Paste magazine survey.
Also showing up in the top 10 are the themes from All In The Family, Hawaii Five O and Gilligan's Island. http://www.pastemagazine.com/ |
