Default Networks Take A Cue From Nickelodeon!!

All my opinion of course. After watching Nickelodeon's sitcoms I've come to a conclusion.....The Networks should take a cue from Nickelodeon and produce sitcoms as they do, there's good comic timing, a story, and genuine laughs. Shows like Drake & Josh, iCarly, and even Disney's Hannah Montana are really good shows. They may have corny parts but, they're fun to watch as well as refreshing. I watch for the hilarious physical comedy these shows are like the way they use to make them. Now a days they're too serious and not funny.

I like the inside joke of Drake & Josh which was created by Dan Schneider, whose name is used on various episodes such as a hotel or Neighbor. Dan Schneider was on the 80's sitcom called Head Of The Class and now he's behind the camera. Most nights especially during the Holiday weeks when nothing is on I'm watching Nick's shows.

Hi

It's funny you mention physical comedy with Drake and Josh because whenever I watch them (Mostly Josh) I get reminded of John Ritter for some reason. That kind of physical comedy. Are they as good. Well... I don't think so but that's just my opinion. Still I get your point.

HAve a good one.

Hannah Montana is so horrible. The acting seems good if you're like, 8. But Drake and Josh wasn't bad...go figure.

Disney shows are terrible - the last good sitcom Disney ever had was That's so Raven. As a mother, I can admit to watching that show now and then, whether my kids were in the room or not-LOL. But now, their shows are just too "kiddish" - you just can't watch them past the age of 13 or so. Like Hannah Montana, Suite Life, or whatever else they have now - their not as sophisticated I guess as they used to be on disney.

Nickelodeon's sitcoms are very good sitcoms, though. They're not aimed at the kid audience - their aimed at family audiences. Drake and Josh was definitely the best. It definitely does have physicaly comedy like network sitcoms don't have nowadays. I wonder how a show like this would have done on a network like ABC.

Well take Jason Earls for example who plays Hannah's brother, he is good at the physical comedy. His scenes make me laugh and I like the banter between him and Rico the tricks they play on one another are funny to watch.

Zac and Cody is silly although, Brenda Song's shallow character is likeable and funny. All three shows are alot better than what the networks have to offer. I think Drake & Josh would have done well on network tv.

The Amanda Show was also ahead of itself variety show wise, it reminded me of Laugh In. Another good one was You Can't Do That On Television it was good for Parents and kids.
