Default Celebrity babies (ENOUGH ALREADY!!!)

I don't know about anyone else, but I for one am so sick of how celeb babies seem to dominate the headlines. At the awards shows all these stupid celebs seem to want to talk about is their stupid little babies. Who the *bleep* cares anyway?!?!?!?! Babies poop, spit up, cry alot...what's so damn important about these little turds anyway?!?!?!?! And who cares about who's with whom and all that?!?!?!?! Whatever happened to celebs talking about their movies, or music projects?!?!?!?!?! Now all they seem to want to talk about is their babies, or giving birth, blah!! Again...WHO CARES?!?!?!?!?!

I can see why you may get tired of seeing it, but surely it's easy enough to ignore?

You can take solace in the fact that there are a number of celebrities who are good, kind, interesting people though. I'm a huge fan of the Bee Gees. Their music isn't too everyone's taste of course, but they ARE excellent people. They're very generous with their time with fans. I think it's quite important for a famous to treat their fans well, and with respect. I've read many stories of fans approaching the Bee Gees' houses (not actually going up to the front door, but hanging about outside the gates) and the Bee Gees have often come out and had a chat and had some photos taken if they're not busy. Whatever one may think of their music, they're good people.

if i hear that so-and-so is pregnant, that so-and-so is switching over to acting, or that so-and-so is plotting with terrorists, i just go about my day. not only do i not give a **** about the personal lives of celebrities but i don't support the news media either, at least in the celebrity gossip area.

I don't mind it so much if the news is positive - it's when the press is clearly trying to stir trouble by exaggerating things or printing lies that I'm bothered about it.

A lot of the famous people that I like are either dead or not very popular right now, so they're not in the news much.

To reiterate, though, the Bee Gees are great people.

Talking about their babies isn't so bad . What gets to me are these expectant mothers parading around with their huge exposed bellies hanging out for all to see.

I know. Not to sound sexist, but I for one do NOT want to see a woman's preggers belly hanging out. I just don't want to see it. I just watch these entertainment news shows and search the internet for entertainment stories just so I can see what's hot in music, movies and TV...not so I can hear/read about so-and-so getting knocked up, or so-and-so having a baby, or so-and-so getting a divorce.

So glad to see this topic is up for discussion. I agree 100%, stop with the BABY-CRAP already!! Who cares? I miss the good old days of when celebrity news was actually entertaining, covering music, films and TV. Nowadays, it's always about babies, babies, babies and more babies!!! And when they aren't talking about babies, they're talking about couples...when they ain't talking about couples, they're talking about divorces...and when they aren't talking about that, they're talking about reality shows!! A sad example of how a person's personal life takes over is whenever on E! News, or Entertainment Tonight they spotlight an artist's new song, rather than talk in detail about the album or song, they have to go right into said artist just having a baby, or getting married...AAAAHHHH!!!!! It's as bad as having to hear all this crap about "Dancing With the Stars" or "American Idol"!!!

There are so many people who like to read those articles. That's why it has gotten so much worse over the years. More than 1/2 the stuff they make up anyway.

Who cares? Plenty of people. They show what sells, and celebrity offspring sells. I love seeing the babies. Suri Cruise, Brad and Angie's brood, and the others. It's a nice change of pace from the downer stories. This isn't new either. Babies have always been a big deal in Hollywood. Lucy and Desi had little Ricky on the cover of TV Guide back in the 50s.

I really don't pay any attention to celebrity news. What bothers me is when local news stations think its viewers want to hear all this stuff. One channel in my area certainly believes this and I won't watch their newscast. Save it for the tabloids, please.

I am not really interested in celebrity babies myself, but I would rather hear about that then listen to stories layoffs, businesses closing, and mortgage crises.
