Thumbs up Any Ebay-ers here?

(I know there have been other threads like this before, I searched for a thread like this and couldn't find one on the first page, and I didn't want to risk bumping up an old one so I'm making a new one.)

Any Ebay-ers out there? What items are you selling? Buying?
Got any good Ebay stories? Do you own a store?

Currently, I'm selling some stuff that I haven't worn in a while. Just to clean out my closet and make some extra cash. If you want to see what I'm selling you can check out my seller page

Post anything related to Ebay here!

aww i love ebay. i just bought a bunch of vocal music books. fun fact: four years ago i put up an autographed picture of jesus for $1000, claiming i had gotten a meet-and-greet pass to heaven as my prize for winning a jesus look-alike contest. no buyers of course, but the attention it got and the lulz of it was what made it worth it.

It sounds like you need to be bumped. You must be very lonely.

i'll also add that you can respond to any thread on here. i'm not speaking as an official source, but all the threads over a year old were moved to the archive, which probably means that the rest here aren't too old to be bumped up.

I tried selling my ENTIRE Three's Company DVD collection on eBay SEVERAL times - I had all 8 seasons. I sank maybe $250 buying them when the DVDs were released, and I was selling the entire thing for $80 on eBay. I had way too many dumbasses sending me messages. "OMFG YOU'RE ASKING TOO MUCH FOR THEM!"

First of all - $10/DVD set. That's CHEAP. Only way you'd be able to drop that much on a DVD set in brick-and-mortar stores is if it's a SINGLE DISC set. Most of the DVDs I was selling off had 4 discs/set, which is $2.50/disc. DIRT CHEAP.

Second of all - I wasn't asking that much for S&H, either. They would still have gotten the entire collection for <$100 AFTER S&H.

Third of all - they aren't even selling the complete series in one big collection yet. Retailers would be asking for WAY more than $80 for such a thing. Whine whine whine.

So I took my damn Three's Company DVDs to a local used game store earlier this week just to be rid of them for good. Their loss. I hope the people here in my city are able to enjoy them.

Anyway, let's see what else. Cool stories? Hmmm. I think it would be the time I won a signed "Mama's Family" script on eBay about 5 years back. There was a bidding war, too, and I won. That was pretty awesome. Or the time last summer when I was searching for a particular TV tray that my parents got for my sibs in the early 80's, before I was born (so I didn't get one). I found the tray, and I now own it. Added bonus - my tray is in better condition than my sibs', and they're all 27 years old.

I recently just bought some "Dessert" lotion. It was a line made by Jessica Simpson a few years ago and it is AMAZING. It's great lotion and it TASTES yummy. (Yes, it's edible) I got three for about $10.

If the lotion is a few years old is it possible for it to go bad? You might want to think twice before tasting it.

Nah, the lotion doesn't go bad because it doesn't have any real food in it. The sprinkles go stale, though.

Oh yeah, I think I posted the link to my TC DVDs auction here somewhere last year.

Oh well... I just wanted them out of the house because they were taking up space. I don't care that I didn't get $80 for them.

I'm what you might call "an ex-eBayer." Between April 2000 and August 2008, I
bought 536 items on eBay (from toys to magazines to books to comics
to records to videos). The first item I bought on eBay was a Yogi Bear TV Tinykin figure; and the last thing was a phonograph record by ventriloquist Jimmy Nelson. But, since I've been unemployed and broke, I haven't bought anything. Ah, how I miss "the good old days"!
