-Your significant other is injured in accident and is paralyzed from the neck down. Would you stay with him/her?
-Your SO is injured in an accident has is severely brain damaged. Would you stay with him/her? A few years ago one of the radio stations in my area did a night talk on the subject or paralysis. Share your thoughts and views. |

first one - yes.
second one - if this means like a vegetative state, then yes only if i felt that this person was my soul mate. if i didn't, then i just couldn't be happy in a relationship with someone i couldn't interact with. there's absolutely nothing mean, shallow or discriminative about saying no to this question. anyone has the right to end a relationship that they're getting nothing out of; it doesn't mean they don't care about the other person anymore. |
