Good question!!!! I've been watching it for at least 5-6 years....maybe even more, I can't remember. It's always something I've looked forward to!!!

I'm not sure myself but I'm thinking the marathons started in the early 90's. I was watching them on KTLA and WPIX up until 1989 before Sci-Fi took over.

Wow! I didn't realize that the marathons went back that far.

We first stumbled onto them a couple of years ago, and they've now become an annual tradition in our household.
