Default What was the greatest sports moment of your life?

As sports fans, we all remember those great moments (Wreckless' Phillies winning the World Series for example).

What are YOUR greatest sports moments ever?

When the Redskins won the SB in 1992 after beating the Bills in Minneapolis (Sorry FSU)
We went 14-2 that year and was very dominant. We started out 11-0 until we lost to the damn Cowboys. We also lost to the *cough* Eagles. LOL

Also, when the Houston Rockets won the NBA title in 1995 after beating the Orlando Magic. I was finally happy to see Clyde Drexler finally win a ring after failing to do so in Portland.

I don't remember the Eagles beating the Skins that year Mike lol. NFC East was a beast in the late '80s-'90s. Two Giants SB wins, 2 Skins SB wins, the 3 Dallas wins, and Eagles get nothing of course . We had some great teams in those 10 years and in that span. Unfortunately, we had some bad luck, injuries and everybody else in the division was excellent, so we picked a bad time and period to be good. I think our best shot was 1992 when we had the best defense, probably ever in the NFL and in '88 in the Fog Bowl. That Fog Bowl was totally unfair, even Mike Ditka agreed when he talked about it on Monday Night Live a month ago.

But anyway, I remember Hak on that Rockets team as well. I think Barkley came in 2-4 years later right? Cause I know Rudy Tomjanovich was the coach of that '95 team, but Charles hadn't been their yet and was still with Phoenix at the time.

Barkley cam 2 years later, 2 years too late. The Dream, Clyde, and Sir Charles were tool old by that time. They gave up so much to get Charles and they had no bench. I wanted to see the Rockets and Bulls in the finals that year, but the Jazz beat the Rockets in the Western Conference finals in game 5 or six I believe. John Stockton hit a three-point at the buzzer to eliminate them. I was hurtin' for days after that.

Yeah I remember all that. The Jazz didn't have the greatest bench either though, that I can at least remember. They had 2 or 3 guys off the bench, but besides that.....

They had Stockton and Malone, and those two were so good and consistant and durable, I hated them both. LOL

lol yeah. I hated Malone, only because he was cocky in his game and personally. I think Stockton was just a low key guy, that had a lot of speed and energy, that he could of used on the court.

Do you still watch the Rockets nowadays?
