This is a story i thought up, knowing that the Darryl character is getting kind of lame and old and even my own family is sick of the Darryl character....
Part 1 My 16 years old daughter ran away a few months ago. I should have seen the warning signs. She ran away because I wouldn't accept her lifestyle. Alyssa is a shy, bright kid with a beautiful smile. I remember the day I gave birth to her and held her in my arms. She was the most gorgeous, precious thing ever. Fast forward to 16 years later. "Mom, I want you to meet Cindy," Alyssa said to me. "She's my friend." She gave me a big smile. Alyssa and I made plans to invite cindy over for dinner two days later. At that dinner, I cooked spaghetti and meatballs. Alyssa and her friend Cindy helped set the table. Then, they sat next to each other. Cindy is a beautiful girl. She has white blond hair and sparkling blue eyes. Alyssa is beautiful too, with chestnut hair and warm brown eyes. I saw Alyssa and Cindy smile warmly at each other. I served garlic bread, spaghetti and meatballs, and orange soda. I sat next to Alyssa and we gave thanks and we begun eating. During dinner, I was wondering if Alyssa and Cindy were holding hands, because they both were eating with only one hand, the other was invisible under the table. No, that's silly, I thought in my head. Alyssa looked extremely happy though. She loked happy with Cindy. No, no, no, I tried to reassure myself, thinking of what I just thought. After dinner, Cindy and Alyssa went into Alyssa's room. They locked the door. I went up to it a couple of minutes later and could have sworn I heard moaning sounds. "That's not possible," I said to myself. "You're imagining things." I knocked on the door. "Alyssa, come on, your dad's on the phone for you, 'I said, lying. I heard running sounds, and then Alyssa hurriedly opened the door. "Uh, okay, mom," she said, sounding frazzled and exasperated. As she was leaving the room, she looked at the ground. She looked guilty. I came up to her. "Alyssa, your dad's not really on the phone. I lied," I told her. Alyssa looked at me in confusion. "Why did you lie?" She asked me. "I just wanted to talk to you about Cindy in private," I answered her. "How long have you known her?" I asked her. "I've known her for four months. She's in my biology class," Alyssa answered. Cindy came out. "Mrs. Patterson, it was nice having me over for dinner. Thank you." I looked at her intently. "You're welcome." I answered her. To Alyssa, she said, 'I'll see you tomorrow in Biology. Bye." She waved. Alyssa said, "bye" too and waved. Over the next days, Alyssa and Cindy spent a lot of time with each other. They went to the movies together, slept over at my house and Cindy's house a lot, and went to the mall a lot together. My suspicions were telling me something was going on between them. The happiness in Alyssa's eyes when she talked about Cindy. The happiness in her voice. I soon looked at Alyssa's phone while she was sleeping. I went to "Calls". She and Ciny had spent three hours talking to each other! My stomach begun to form knots. I didn't want to face my suspicions. |
