Life update

This week is finals week and after tomorrow, in which I'll grade 52 exams (I'm a TA), I can relax.

Over the next couple of weeks, I'll be looking for an internship, which is required in order for me to graduate. It'll probably be at one of the major studios as long as I'll be able to network with writers.

Over the winter break I'm going to be writing a bunch of spec scripts, starting with Cold Case. Then I'll move onto Bones and then another series that I haven't decided on yet I'm also working on a second screenplay. I was so busy this semester that I haven't had a lot of time to write or even browse the internet.

I did read the birthday thread and I appreciate the kind comments by Janice and Tripperfan. Hopefully, Pavan will be right and you'll see my credits on TV shows in the future. TV is extremely difficult to break into but that won't stop me. I love writing and I have Stephen J. Cannell to thank for inspiring me to do it for a living; I saw him speak at Cal State Fullerton a year and a half ago about writing and I decided that's what I wanted to do.

So glad your studies are going well. I admire you for going after something you want, no matter how difficult it might be. It will pay off for you for the rest of your life ~
