If I had to pick one song to be my absolute favorite of all-times, I would have to go with "The Power in My Purse". This is a rap song that was performed by Lisa Kudrow in my favorite movie of all-times! This movie is "Marci X". However, because of how much of a flop it was at the box office, a lot of you have probably never even heard of it! In addition to getting to see someone as sexy and talented as Lisa Kudrow perform a rap song, another thing that I liked about the film was the part played by Christine Baranski. In my opinion, she is an actress who looks really hot as a fifty-something! Well, I remember on this page in which someone posted a message about how makeup and technology have been used to make Courteney Cox Arquette look younger and more beutiful than mother nature would have planned! In any event, a little bit over twenty-four hours ago, I picked up a two-disk DVD set of either my second or third favorite movie of all times! This movie is "Mamma Mia!" Well, one of the reasons that I like this movie so much is that my good friend Christine has returned to the big screen! The scene with her that I really fell in love with was the one where she wore designer boots during her rendition of "Dancing Queen"! This is, by the way, my second favorite song of all-times. Well, another way that this ties in with this show is that, at least in my opinion, all three of the babes from "Friends" could win blue ribbons for looking sexy in dress boots! Wow! In any event, I have gone all over this board and posted messages about how happy I am about the whole expereince! The last time I checked (which was less than an hour ago) none of these threads had any responses. The pages in which I have posted these message are those of Will and Grace, Mad About You, Gimme a Break!, Facts of Life and Frasier. Maybe this time around, I will generate a response or two! Who knows?

The first thing that I would like to do is thank the second to last poster for uploading the "Power in my Purse" onto this thread! It is great to have my favorite song so readily available! If only they had made a soundtrack to that movie! In any event, both before and after I came here, I have posted dozens of responses about how happy I was to have finely gotten my hands on the two-disk DVD set of the "Mamma Mia!" movie. I would be very interested in knowing whether anyone reading this is a fan of the music of ABBA in general or that movie in particular! In any event, one of the threads that I started was on the "Gimme a Break!" page and it was called "Today was the Day!" So far, this one has generated nine responses! I think that you guys might be quite amused by some of them! In any event, I have recently started new threads on the pages of "Caroline in the City" and "Frasier". The fomrer is called "A Remote Connection" and the latter is "My Friend Caroline". I would be very interested in what any of you think of any of the above!

I am bringing this thread up to the top of the page in celebration of Lisa's upcoming sereis. I am very excited about it! In the post titled "Lisa Kudrow" I read the article that was uploaded unto the thread. As interesting as the article was, I was a little bit disappointed about the fact that there was not a signle mention of "Marci X"! I guess that this movie really was a pretty big flop! |

It seems that, ever since the weekend, all of the pages that I frequent except for the "Golden Girls" have been extreamly slow. I am sure that most of you can figure out why the "Golden Girls" page has been getting post after post! In any event, I have been all over this board trying to stimulate some conversation about some of the other shows that I like. So far, I have had virtually no success! As a port in the storm, I have decided to bring this one up to the top of the page. Maybe, after having watched the video, more fans will be willing to tell us what they think of the song! |

For the longest time, this page (like a bunch of others) has seemed to be in the moth balls. However, when I came to it this evening, I could see as clear as day that it had two new posts! I was thrilled! I have already responded to one of these threads. Because I see that this page is getting some action again, I have decided to bring this oldie to the top. Just in case anyone is interested in what other pages I have attempted to stimulate conversation on this evening, they include "Gimme a Break!" and the "Golden Girls". I will probably also take on "Mad About You" and "Caroline in the City" before the night is over. Bye! |
