College Company-Episode #7-Lynn's Boyfriend

Scene-Dorm Lynn: Guys guess what?!?!? Jake: What? Lynn: I just got a job at the school radio station!!!!! Cindy: That's great!! Doing what? Lynn: I do the news!!!! Jake: Fun.... Lynn: Well to me it is! I always wanted to study radio journalism! How does this sound: Hey hey hey its Lucky Lynn with the news for today day day! [Jake and Cindy stare at each other] Cindy: Ummmm...its.. Jake: Unique!!!! Lynn: Thanks!!! oh no!!! I'm late! I gotta go! Jake and Cindy: Bye! Later that day....... Lynn: I did it!!!!!! Cindy: You did what? Lynn: Well today was my first day doing the news, and it was a big hit! I boosted up the ratings big time!!!! Jake: Thats great Lynn!!! [hugs her] Lynn: Down at the station, they say I'm the best!!! I'm even better then some DJ's!!! Scene-Radio Station [Lynn is at the station with a DJ named Justin] Justin: Lynn, hows this: Hey hey this is Justin here from UCLA!!! And now its time for that special hour we call Just-in time! Hahaha Lynn: Thats great! Except...now its my turn to do the news! Justin: Well you just go right ahead...... Lynn: [on air] Hey hey! Lucky Lynn here with your news for today! [Justin laughs] In the top news, a man by the name of Dante..Dante...hahahahaha get a load out of this name-TURKEY!!! Dante Turkey has been charged with vandalism at the local Antonio's Pizzeria! He reportedly wrote his name on all the tables and then..broke them??? Ok....? And....moving right along....our annual children's carnival will be held on Saturday! Bring the kids, bring the cousins, bring the grandparents, bring the dog! Oh no we're outta time! But always remember my catch phrase...Never snooze when doing the news! Over and out! [a man walks in] Man: Bravo!!! Bravo!!!! Lynn: Oh hello. Who are you? Man: My name is Mark McMillin. I'm....new...here and I wanted to work at the radio station. I just lovveeeee the way you do the news!!!! Lynn: Thanks Mark! Mark: Hey, how bout we get some lunch together? Then, you can teach me how to be better in the radio business! Lynn: Alright!!! Scene-A Restaurant Mark: So, Lynn, where do you get all your catch phrases from? Lynn: Oh...i dont know...they just come to me! Mark: I hear that those catch phrases are one of the big rating boosters! Could you please tell them to me? I want to write them down.... Lynn: Alright! Well first of all, theres hey hey hey its Lucky Lynn with the news today! Well basically, all I do is just...well i dont know...just say anything on your mind! And rhyme as much as possible! Like for example, we had a contest and the prize was a free dinner to that new, expensive Chinese restaurant. And what i said was, Hey hey hey! Your a winner and you'll be eating Egg rolls for dinner!!! [both laugh] Mark: Ohhh thats soooo great! But, whats that thing you always say at the end...... Lynn: Oh!!! Never snooze when you're doing the news! [both Laugh] That means, always have fun and add some humor into the news. Don't just read it, like the people on TV!!! Mark: [writes it down] Thanks! You know....I really like you Lynn!!!! Do you wanna go out some other time? Lynn: Sure! But....our date's not over yet....is it? Much much later.... Scene-Dorm Jake: Where in the world is Lynn?!?!?!? Its 3:00 in the morning!!! Cindy: I dont know Jake! Jake: I'm worried!!!!! Cindy:Maybe we should go down to the station and look for her! Jake: Thats right!!! Here, I'll get the door! [opens it, only to see Mark and Lynn kissing] Oh my god..... The next morning...... Scene-Dorm Jake: Lynn!!!!! What was that at the door? Lynn: That was me kissing my NEW BOYFRIEND!!!! And what is wrong with that? Cindy: I think some one is JEALOUSSSSS..... Lynn: Me too..... Jake: Jealous?!!??! Lynn you came home at 3:00 in the morning!!!! Lynn: Well thats MY business!! Jake: But...but.... Lynn: I have to go now. I'm needed at the station. Jake: Lynn!!!! You are NEVER home anymore!!! You are always soooo busy either between whatever that guys name is and the station! Lynn: Jake!!! You are stretching the point! I've only known Mark for two days! Jake: But Lynn.... Lynn: GOODBYE!! I'm leaving! [slams the door] Jake: Great. Just great. Cindy: Oh don't worry Jake!!! Jake: Hey Cindy, its still pretty early and my first class doesn't start for awhile.....do you wanna go to the campus gym with me? Cindy: Sure! Scene-Outside, near the gym Cindy: That was a great workout wasn't it Jake? Jake:[exhausted] Yes! But did you HAVE to drop the weight on my foot!??! Cindy: Sorry.... Jake: Luckily, it was only 5 pounds. Cindy: Hey, isn't that Mark? Lynns boyfriend? Jake: Yeah. And hes on the phone with someone! Lets hide behind this tree and listen....[they listen] Mark: [on the phone] Hey Lisa! Yes yes I did get those catch phrases from that Lynn girl in UCLA. Jake and Cindy: WHAT?!?!?!? [continue to listen] Mark: Yeah....and you can be "Lucky Lisa" down at your radio station job!!! Cindy: He's completely taking Lynn's ideas! Jake: Shhhh be quiet! Lynn: [walks by] WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING?!? Jake: SHhhhhhh!! Lynn get over here! I want you to hear something! [Lynn listens] Mark: Yeah Lisa. I completely ripped off that Lynn girl! OMG she is sooo clueless! She actually thinks I like her! [Jake, Lynn, Cindy all gasp] Mark: Oh no Lisa theres nothing going on between me and Lynn! You're the only one for me baby!!! I love you and i PROMISE I'll be back at UCSB soon! Bye. [hangs up] Lynn: I don't believe this! Mark: [to himself] Lynn! Shes sooooo dumb! Lynn: Why don't you say it to my face huh!??!? Mark: Lynn!!!! What...are...u doing here? Lynn: I GO TO THIS COLLEGE! And YOU don't apparently! Lisa huh Mark: No no..... Lynn: And if your little Lisa EVER says my catch phrases on air...... Mark: Wait a minute Lynn....... Lynn: Get out of here and go back to UCSB!!! Mark: But.... Lynn: TAKE A HIKE!!! Oh Jake, Cindy im sorry!!! [hugs them] THE END This took me a LONG time to write!!!
