For a little over a week, I have been posting messages all over this board about how excited I was about the upcoming release of the "Mamma Mia!" movie on DVD! I have found various ways to tie this reality in with the shows that have pages on this site. Most of these connections are related to actress Christine Baranski. In the first place, I think that Christine looks great as a fifty-something! Because of this I have compared her to other actresses who I think look nice as older women. In my opinion, "Gimme a Break!" has had quite a few episodes that have featured attractive older babes! Another thing that I liked about Christine in the film was the outfit that she had on during her rendition of "Dancing Queen". I thought that those designer boots really hit the spot! Wow! Well, in my opnion, Julie from this show wins the prize in terms of looking sexy in boots! Over on the "Brady Bunch" page, I have pointed out two more ways that the movie relates to that sereis. In the first place, Christine herself made a guest appearances on that show when she was in her late teens. On top of this, according to my expereinces, the generation that grew up with that show are just about old enough (and corny enough) to appreciate the music of ABBA! However, I have posted quite a bit on that page in the recent past. Because of this, I will, for now at least, limit to this page that thing that I am just bursting to tell somebody. The thing is that on this very day, I went to Kmart and bought the two disk DVD set! I am so excited!

It angers me when one of my all time favorite show's message boards get flooded with bizarre posts from a single probably abnormal person about their fixiation on certain actresses that have nothing to do with the show
I've mostly ignored them hoping the poster would stop and thankfully I never read the one about Grace Adler on the toilet I think Strangeboy oh I mean Smartboy might find forums better suited to his tatses on a different type of site. Maybe one that has a 18 yr old mininium age requirement

As foolish as I feel dignifying most of the posts on this thread with a response, there are some things that I feel unable to hold my piece about! In the first place, I am very curious about why the poster from Hawaii is constantly misspelling Hazel Shermet's name. He or she is odviously doing it on purpose! On top of this, over on the "Will and Grace" page, the posts about the character of Grace in boots and the ones about her bathroom habits are two entirely different topics posted on two different sets of threads. The site of her in boots is mainly in regards to an episode called "Star Spangled Banter". Early in this episode, she referred to herself as having recently donated five-hundred dollars to the Paul Smith Fabulous Boot Foundation! She was making fun of herself for being so materialistic. Most of the episodes in which she talks about her own bathroom functions have to do with her constant quest for physical comfort. This is all about her being a Jewish American Princess. By making Grace non-athletic and non-outdoorsy, the show was reanforcing a sterotype. The fact that Will was also a big indoorsman also reanforced the sterotype of a gay person in general and a WASPs gay in particular. Playing up these sterotypes was part of the charm of the show. I now feel very fulfilled to have straightened that out!
