Watching "A Terminal Christmas" from Season 2 tonight. Joe asks Helen if she's excited about her family coming to visit from Texas. Helen says she is, and that she's happy that her family is visiting her and not her sister "Lorrainne".
Surprised the writers didn't remember this when they introduced Casey later on in the series. I don't remember Helen having two sisters. Also, one thing I've noticed by watching Wings every night for the past three months. Do you know the scene of the outside of Tom Nevers field? The parking lot scene? It's only on for about three seconds and is always played when they come back from commercial. The cars haven't changed the entire series!! There's a black Ford Escort parked there. Obviously the producers shot that at the very beginning of the series and to save money just used it over and over. During the times when people only watched once a week, it wouldn't have been noticeable. But it so is now. Found it kind of interesting. |

I never noticed that about the outside shots
It wouldn't surprise me if other shows did that.I think the writers just forgot that Helen's only sister already had a name when they came up with the Casey character. Lorraine was only mentioned that one time and Casey didn't appear until four years later. If Casey showed up several episodes after A Terminal Christmas, then I'd have a problem with it. |

Wanna know how many times is too many to have watched the eps (regarding the exterior shots)?
1. The same two guys walking on the outside the airport. One, a gray-haired gentleman with a bag over his shoulder and a blue jacket on. The other, a non-descript skinny guy (both have their backs to the camera). 2. A yuppie-looking, casually dressed guy is waiting against a wooden fence with a bag over his shoulder, and just before they cut you notice his buddy strolling up. 3. Sort of like the Ford Escort thing, the SAME blue, late 80s station wagon passes by the camera as it zooms in slowly. As far as "Lorraine", I can't for certain say that Helen or Casey ever mentions they are the only children of their parents. So maybe there is a Lorraine floating around out there who is the black sheep of the family (though she wasn't at Helen's wedding...or was she? Off-screen? Yes, I'm reaching). |

Gee, Ryan, you have watched the show way too much!
Antonio would say that he has come to the inescapable conclusion that you need to get a life

![]() Hey - at least Ryan's not having to stretch it as far as Happy Days did with the big brother Chuck. That one is the ALLTIME head scratcher - where a character is there for one or two seasons and then totally disappears never to be seen or mentioned again! Chuck must be partying it up with Lorraine in some sort of sitcom character dumpster in heaven! LOL |

Don't forget the younger daughter on Family Matters. You think where the father's a cop, he would want to know where his own child is.

Hehe, you'd be right, Kristen. But Nantucket's the most boring-fun place on earth
, and whenever I hear those drums beat as the theme starts, the other Antonio quote I hear kicks in: "This party ain't over, Paco."
