"Good News- Or Bad News?" Part Two

Scene- Beautie and the Bistro

Terri, Jack, Larry, Janet, Cindy, Blizzard, Richie, and Jessica are in it

Janet: It's not so bad! All we have to do is get the windows replaced and scrub off the grafetti!

Jack goes over to the window, and picks up a pane of glass. On it is stamped: Jack's Bistro.

Terri: It's the old logo!

Jack: I'm going to hang this in the new Bistro!

Music is played as they show clips of them scrubbing off the grafetti and replaceing the glass.

About Two Weeks Later.....

Jack: Well, we did it!

Jack goes over to the window and turns the sign to say OPEN.

Larry: This is so exciting!

The Ropers enter

Stanley: I don't want to go out to dinner!

Helen: This is Jack and Cindy's big day!

Stanley: Well, okay! But they better not charge high prices!

Jack: Can I help you?

Helen: Yes! Could we get a seat by the window?

Cindy: Sure guys!

She gives the Ropers their menus, but accidently hits Mr. Roper with one. Mr. Roper falls to the floor

Cindy: Oh, I'm sorry. (Looks at him some more) Is he dead?

Helen: No, he's just doing his favorite past time......Sleeping!

They laugh

Mr. Furley enters

Ralph: Well, Jack, former tippytoes, I'd like to dine at your diner.

Cindy: That's Bistro!

Ralph: Whatever! (Sees Mr. Roper) Jack, your cooking really knocks them out, huh?

Jack: No, Cindy knocks them out! (Laughs)

Stanley comes too

Jack: Now what will you order, Mr. Roper?

Stanley: Let me see the menu.

Jack gives him the menu. Stanley's eyes bulge as he sees the prices

Stanley: Helen, can't we just get a Big Mac?

Helen: Nevermind him. We'll have the special meal of the week.

Jack turn to RF

Jack: What would you like?

Gives RF the menu. Now RF's eyes bulge

RF: I'll have water!

Cindy: Springwater?

RF: Santa Monica Tap!

Jack

To the Ropers) That will be $27.47. (To RF) That will be $0.05!

Mrs. Van Peters of "Who's Cooking With Lana?" enters

Inga (German Accent): Ohhh, hello girls. When I heard your friend, here, Jack, is reopening his Bistro, I was so happy. (Looks at Bizzard) Hey, you're not Chrissy!

Blizzard: Chrissy lives in Fresno now, with her daughter, Easter.

Inga: Anyway, I would like the special. How much is it?

Cindy: $13.73!

Later.......

All the custormers are gone

Janet: This sure was a good business day. Ohh, remember Jack, when you first moved in, you said: "One day I hope to open a restaurant for people who appreciate high prices!".

Jack: I sure do! To bad Chrissy isn't here!

A knocking is heard at the window

Terri: Be careful Jack! It might be a robber!

Jack goes to the door with a frying pan and opens the door. He almost hits the figure, who shrieks and a baby crying is heard. It's Chrissy!

Chrissy: It's me Jack!

Jack: How are you doing?

Chrissy: Fine. I came down here because I missed the first time the Bistro opened! How was business?

Jack: Great! Mr. Furley, The Ropers, and Inga were here!

Richie: Aunt Chrissy! I've missed you so much!

Cindy: Hi Chrissy! I am part owner of the Bistro. Would you like some wine?

Chrissy: Sure!

Cindy gets a glass of wine but spills it on Chrissy

Chrissy: Cindy, you klutz!

Cindy: I'll clean it up!

Chrissy: It's okay. I have to go home now! Bye!

They say buy as screen fades.
