#5-The Accident Part 1

Cindy: Oh no!!!! I'm late for my next class!! The professor will kill me!! I better hurry! [runs down the stairs in a big hurry]Whoa...WHOAAAAAAa[cindy tumbles down the stairs and falls] Owwww!!! Owww!!!

[Jake and Lynn enter]

Lynn: That was a great program wasn't it?

Jake: Yeah, for a change it was actually fun! [sees Cindy on the ground] CINDY!!!! WHAT HAPPENED?

Cindy: Well, I was rushing to class and I ran so fast I tripped down the stairs! [looks at her watch] Oh no. Now I'm late. Owww owww

Lynn: CINDY!!! It doesn't matter that you're late! We need to get you to the hospital quick.

Cindy: No!!! NO hospital!!!

Jake: Ok then. If you don't wanna go to the hospital, then prove to us that you can stand up.

Cindy: Sure!!! [Cindy tries to stand, but falls down hard] OWWWWW!!!

Lynn: See! You are going to the hospital right this minute. We're not takin anymore chances!!! [Jake picks up Cindy, they exit]

A few hours later....

Scene: Hospital

[Cindy is in her hospital room with the doctor, Lynn, and Jake]

Doctor: Well Ms. Snow, you hit yourself really hard there.

Cindy: I know. Ooooo it hurts! What did I break?

Jake: Many many things in your life. [Jake laughs, Lynn nudges him]

Doctor: It seems you have a severe fracture to your neck and you have broken your right leg very severly. I'll have a nurse in here very soon.

Cindy: Alright.

Later that day.....

[Jake and Lynn are in the waiting room]

Jake: Oh no will she be ok???

Lynn: I hope so!!

Doctor: [enters] Jake, Lynn, I have something to tell you about your dear friend Cindy.

Lynn: What is it doctor?

Jake: What's wrong with Cindy???? Tell us!

Doctor: Well that was a pretty hard fall she took! I'm afraid, there is a danger of her being...

Jake: Of her being what?

Doctor: Handicapped. She might become handicapped.

Jake and Lynn: WHAT??!?!?! [Jake and Lynn hug each other and cry]
