Billboard.com readers were asked what their favorite album of 2008 was, and more than 16,000 heeded the call. Here are ten albums that snagged the most votes, a list that ranges from music by three mega-selling divas; rock acts old and new; finalists from another season of "American Idol"; plus a few surprises!

Glad that Chinese Democracy did so well.

Also, Pretty.Odd is the best album up there, imo. I wish Weezer would've sold better. It was my favorite of the year.
