Question Which episode is this?

Where the blond girl is dancing in the living room (to Michael Sembello's Maniac, if I'm not mistaken) and Nell comes in and starts dancing, too. When did that episode air?

I could be wrong, but I think it's "Hot Muffins" from season one?

I just checked the epiosde on DVD and in it they are singing "If You Think I'm Sexy" so I'm not sure if this is the episode you're thinking of or if it's another one. In "Hot Muffins" its Katie praticing with her singing group and they're singing horribly. Nell shows them how it's done by singing and dancing herself.

"Hot Muffins" came out at the tail-end of the first season. The episode in which Nell and Katie danced to the beat of "Maniac" was in the third season and it was "Joey Part 1". This was the first of a two-part episode in which the family took in an orphan boy to raise as their own. This was the primary plot of this two-parter. The secondary plot was the various performances that the family was going to put on at a charity show for the Veterans of Foreign War. A jazz dance routine was Katie's controbution.

This first thing that I would like to do is say how happy I am to have received the last poster's gratitude so shortly after my response! That being said, one topic that I have been accused of beating into the ground is that of the episode called "Samantha's Protest". It is just that, because of how big a fan I am of Katie getting her bubble burst at the end, I would really like to find some friends who I could share that joy with! Because new people are constantly visiting this site, I feel like if I keep this topic alive, I might get lucky someday. One of the reasons why I like this two-parter is that it is shortly before "Samantha's Protest". In this episode, Katie acts as if she thinks of herself as being quite sexy and sophisticated. I really enjoy knowing that a few episodes later, she will end up giddy with no place to go! On top of this, another thing that I like about "Samantha's Protest" is how much like an angel Julie acts throughout the whole episode and how much of a knockout she is in her long blue skirt! Wow!

I am going to have to disagree with what the last poster wrote about us ALL being wrong about what episode that was! If you go to post number six on this thread, you will see that I, as clear as day wrote that this was in season 3 and that the episode was called "Joey Part 1". I did not saying anything about this being a preview in the Candian release of Season 2, but that dose not detract from the fact that I got right what episode it was or what season it was in! Two posts later, I submitted again elaborating a little bit on what I liked about that episode as well as the season in general. However, when I responded for the first time, I, pretty much said what the last poster said only in different words!
