On various posts, I have written about how the character of Grace can make a lot of things including going to the bathroom seem cute and sexy! I would say that my favorite is when she put her husband's inflatable neck pillow in between her butt and the toilet seat! Well Grace was depicted as a Jewish American Princess who was always looking for physicle confort. I remember once eating at a restaurant in which the public bathrooms were referred to as comfort rooms! Well, I would be very interested in reading other peoples' memories of times when Grace acted as if the bathroom was her favorite room of the house and her time using it was her favorite time of the day!

Because there is no informtion about what gender the second to last poster is, I am going to have to refer to this person as "they" throughout the remainder of this response. The first thing that I am curious about is what exactly they are saying that I have to be kidding about. On top of this, less than an hour ago, I posted a response thanking this person for taking a load off of my mind on the "Friends" page! On that response, I have since gone on and mentioned my fondness for the episode in question and Lisa Kudrow's part in it in particular. Take care!

I think what that person met is that it is really odd for you to come up with a topic of someone on the toilet. it's kinda gross if you think about it. i don't wanna picture anyone on the toilet. Your the kind of person who can make a subject of anything. it seems to me. that's not an insult

I am responding to this thread for a variety of reasons. To start with, it is one of the very few threads about anything that I have any interested in that I am not already to most recent person to respond to. I would really like to stimulate some conversation about some of these fine shows! On top of this, I would like to celebrate the fact that, as of now, this particular thread has exactly one hundred views! Before moving on, there is one more reality that I would like to point out. I am very surprised that, out of all of the responses to this topic, no one has pointed out that the whole toilet seat discussion was completely left out of the syndicated versions as well as the DVD! It took me quite some time to learn that this was originally a super-sized episode that was widdled down for the purpose of syndication. As it turned out, it was the syndicated version that made it to DVD. Bummer! If you want to learn more about this situation, you can go to another thread started by me called "Editing" In any event, I would say that the way that Grace behaved in this episode (which I will probably never see again) was symbolic of three characteristics that I found quite appealing in her. I thought that she was kooky in a nice way, meterilistic in a nice way and even a little bit selfish in a nice way!

I have a couple of reasons for bringing this thread to the top of the page. In the first place, I am always interested in stimulating some conversation about some of these fine shows! On top of this, over in the "Cheers" section of this site, someone mentioned an episode that he or she was especially fond of that they would like to see uploaded onto "Youtube". I have since responded to this thread offering this poster compassion! There are many scenes from many different series that I would like to see uploaded! I have posted messages all over this board making such requests. Well, "Will and Grace" is no exception! Although I own the DVD with this episode, it does not include the part that I am most fond of. If there is anyone reading this post who has a recording of the original super-sized episode and who is willing to upload this scene, I would be ever so greatful! |
