Nick at Nite's noticeable Roseanne edit - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I saw Roseanne season 6 episode Homeward Bound and on the dvd version is more extended than the Nick at Nite version.

Here is an example:

Nick at Nite version

Roseanne: I want you to start sticking up for yourself around Darlene don't let her push you around all the time.

Darlene: David come help me unpack.

David: No no I can't help you.

Nick at Nite then cuts to intro

Dvd unedited version

Roseanne: I want you to start sticking up for yourself around Darlene don't let her push you around all the time.

Darlene: David come help me unpack.

David: No no I can't help you.

Roseanne: No you can help her unpack

David: Ok

Cool. That is good you caught that. I always the syndicated and NAN version was funny with the line standing alone but with that unedited line, it makes it even funnier. I hadn't seen the unedited version since 1994. LOL.

Most shows do that, a lot of the extra footage that was cut for time makes it on the DVD I have noticed. Friends series especially.
