Are you stupid? Sabathia was 17-10 this season with 251 strikeouts, he has 36 wins the last two years, which is tied for the Major League lead for starting pitchers. Just because the Phillies killed him in one game, doesn't mean he's a bad pitcher, you need to re-evaluate and get that sillyness out of your brain. Sabathia is one of the best pitchers in the majors, and nothing less.

he can't win when it really counts so that's why that other sh*t you are talking about don't mean anything. Why you think the brewers was not fighting to keep him.

Was Greg Maddux ever a big time playoff pitcher? No. Sabathia is still great but he doesn't want to come to the Yankees it seems. He has had the deal for 3 weeks now and said he doesn't want to play in NY. But now they upped the offer to 160 million...let's see what he says now, lol.

I have to agree with Sol here. In the 2007 playoffs, he couldn't get my mom out.

The problem with CC last year, was he was used way too much. He is still a great pitcher Solomon.

He only pitched ONE GAME and we killed him. You can't base a guy's career off of one game lol. Especially when he's a Cy Young winner, 200 strikeout, 19 game winner. Your opinion counts though.

Are you serious?

It's called Free Agency, they still want him back. They only gave up their and MLB's top prospect to get him (Matt Laporta). They didn't say, aw f*ck it, this guy sucks, we'll trade away our best & top prospect for some bum. NO. They got a great pitcher, the best pitcher. One game that the World Series Champions beat him up for, doesn't mean he's a bad pitcher.

He's a good pitcher- the Yankees desperately need a new ace with Mussina having retired.

Good Pitcher my A$$

He was HORRIBLE down the strecth and gave up a homerun on the road. Ace Pitchers don't do that. And I judge players on what they do in the postseason, not the regular season. He is a Fat Fraud

So (great), top notch pitchers never give up homers? Santana for the Mets gave up 20+ homers this season. I guess HE'S HORRIBLE- lol. That means nothing, every pitcher is going to give up a homer, great or not. Even the best get taken out of the yard, despite what you say or claim. One game where Vic hit a grand slam off of him for us is great but in overall terms, doesn't mean sh*t towards Sabathia being a bad pitcher. Enough of this talk about him being horrible, he's great.

They are showing the highlights of him on ESPN giving up 4 walks and a homer to the Phillies. And this is a man the Yanks are giving a $160 million to?
