Katherine's World

Starring Keri Lynn Pratt as Katherine Madsen, a 25-year-old dental hygenist and bride-to-be living in her parents' Denver home trying to keep her sanity after her parents give her an ultimatum: move back into her parents' home (and not living in sin) until the wedding or her parents will not help her financially with the wedding finances. Katherine's relationship with her law school student fiancee, Eric Haines (Jesse Bradford) has not suffered an ounce since she was coerced into moving back with her parents until their nupitals. Katherine's well-to-do yet down-to-Earth parents, Joe and Monica Madsen (Jamey Sheridan, Christine Ebersole) highly approve of Katherine's relationship with Eric, but does not condone them "living in sin" together. Katherine not only lives with her loving yet meddlesome parents, but her slightly immature and self-involved 22-year-old sister, Kim Madsen (Megan Fox) also lives with Joe and Monica, along with Kim's 2-year-old son, Riley Madsen-Avery. Riley's dad is none other than Kim's longtime on-again, off-again slacker boyfriend, Justin Avery (Jared Padalecki) who Joe and Monica like and consider part of their family (mostly because he is the father of their grandchild), much to Kim's dismay especially when Justin and Kim are broken up. Watch how Katherine, Eric, and her family all live their day-to-day lives while planning their approaching wedding nupitals.
