#46-What About Me?

[Jack and Janet are trying to get Jennifer to walk to Jack. Terri is watching and Larry is video taping it.]

Jack: [kneeling] Come on Jen!! Come to Daddy!

Janet: Walk to Daddy Jennifer come on!!!

Larry: [video taping] This is priceless!

Terri: Isn't this exciting?

Richie: [comes out of his bed room] Hey everybody look at what I made my train do!

Terri: No no not now honey. Oh wow!! By the end of the week Jennifer will be walking all around the room!

Richie: What about me?!?!?!

Jack: Come on Jennifer walk to Daddy!!! [Jennifer tries to walk, but keeps falling down.]

Janet: [to Jennifer]Oh thats ok sweetie you'll make it!

Terri: Keep going Jennifer!!!

Richie: [mad] FINE!!! I'll go play by myself!! [runs into his room and slams his door]

Scene-Richie's Room

Blizzard: [enters] Hey Richie!! Why aren't you with everyone watching Jennifer?

Richie: They don't pay attention to me!! All I ever hear is Jennifer Jennifer Jennifer!!!!!

Blizzard: Oh come on Richie you're imagining it!!!

Richie: No!!! They don't care about me!!

Terri: [from outside the room] Blizzard!! Could you come in here please?

Blizzard: I have to go. I'll be back soon.

Richie: But what about...[hears door slam] me.....No one loves me anymore. [cries]I think I should run away....

Scene-Richie's Friend Kyle's House

[doorbell rings]

Richie: Hi Kyle!!

Kyle: Hi Richie!!!! What are you doing here?

Richie: I runned away from my home. Nobody loves me anymore.

Kyle: Don't worry! You can live here and we'll take care of you! It would be like we was brothers!!!!

Richie: Yeah!!

Kyle: Lets go to my room!

Scene-Apartment

[Everyone is still crowding around Jennifer as Larry video tapes her]

Jack: Come on Jennifer!!! You can do it! Walk to daddy!

Janet: [to Jennifer] You can do it honey!!!!

Terri: Larry, are you getting all this on tape?

Larry: Yup!!! I remember when we did this with Richie....

Blizzard: Speaking of Richie, where is he?

Terri: In his room! [Terri checks Richies room] Oh my god hes not there!!!!!

Larry: Here we go again!!!

JAck: Richie!! Where are you?

Janet: [calls after him]Richie!!!

Scene-Kyle's house

[doorbell rings]

Kyle's Mom: Oh hello Mr and Mrs Dallas!! And the Trippers, Blizzard and oh....this must be the baby!

Terri: Hi is Richie here?

Kyle's Mom: Yes he is. I was just about to call you. Apparently, he ran away from home. He said something about a Jennifer and how you guys don't love him anymore....[all gasp]

Janet: Oh no!!! We all have been paying a lot of attention to Jennifer lately!

Larry: We completely ignored Richie!!!

Jack: Poor kid!!!!

[Kyle and Richie come downstairs]

Richie: Hey whats all that noise....uh oh

Kyle: You're in troubblleeeeee

Terri: Richie honey!!!!

Richie: Mommy!!! Daddy! Uncle Jack Auntie Janet Blizzard and...Jennifer?

Terri: [hugs Richie] We were worried sick about you honey!!!

Larry: Don't you EVER do this again!!!

Terri: We'll talk at home Richie. Thanks again to the both of you!

Kyle's Mom: You're very welcome!!

Scene-Apartment

Terri: Now Richie, i know we have been paying a lot of attention to Jennifer, but that does NOT mean we don't love you!!

Larry: We were really worried son!

Janet: And we all love you very much Richie!

Jack: Even though you are not mine and Auntie Janet's kid, we still really care about you!

Blizzard: Always remember that!

Richie: Ok. I was just so sad because all everyone cared about was Jennifer!

Terri: Well honey, when you were a baby everyone fussed over you too!!!

Richie: Really?

Larry: Yeah!!! We video taped you and everything!

Richie: Wow!!

JaneT: And we promise to pay more attention to you honey. We love you. [hugs Richie]

Jennifer: Rrrrr

Jack: Oh my god this could be her first word!!! Listen everyone!!!

Jennifer: Rrrriii

Janet: What?? I cant understand her.....

Terri: I wonder what she's trying to say! Get the video camera Larry!

Blizzard: Come on Jennifer!

Jennifer: Riccchieee

Janet: [all say awwww] Did she just say what i think she said?

Jack: Say it again honey.

Jennifer: Riccchhiee rrrricchie. Richie!!!

Terri: Did you hear that Richie! Your name is her first word!!!!!

Richie: Wow!!!!! [Jennifer tries to hug Richie] No no, I'll do it for you. [Richie hugs Jennifer, all smile as the screen fades]
