I am very excited about the fact that we are only one week away from the time that the "Mamma Mia" movie comes out in its two-disk DVD set! Is anyone reading this planning to rent or buy this package? All over this board, I have posted messages about how fond I am of Christine Baranski in general and her part in this movie in particular. Well, there are two things that I would like feedback about from other "Gimme a Break!" fans. In the first place, how do people think that she compare to Hazel Shermet as someone who looks good as an older woman. Second, how do you think that she compares to Lauri Hendler (Julie Kaniski) in terms of looking sexy in dress boots?

If you read my original post carefully, you will see that I pointed out two ways in which the release of this movie pertains to "Gimme a Break!" The first thing is the comparison between Hazel Shermet and Christine Baranski in terms of looking hot as older women. On other pages of this sits, I have also compared Christine to other older actresses. These babes include Blythe Danner, Cynthia Harris and even Courteney Cox Arquette. I realize that Courteney is not nearly as old as the others, but she is over five years older than me. The part that she played on "Friends" was that of someone five years younger than she really was. In fact, she if even older than David Schwimmer who played her older brother on the show! In any event, there is a thread on the "Friends" page about how cloths, makeup and surgery can make women like Courteney look a lot younger than they really are. The second thing is that Julie from "Gimme a Break!" looks like an absolute anger in designer boots and, in my opinion the character played by Christine in the movie is not far behind! In any event, over on the "Facts of Life" page, I have pointed out that Christine could really wear three hats in terms of being germain to that she. In the first place, just like appearing three times on "Gimme a Break!" Hazel appeared twice on that show. This brings us back to my comparison about older women. In my opinion, another babe who looks hot in boots is Blair from that show! Wow! Now we are back to my boot comparison. And last but not least, in that sereis' sixth season, there was an episode in which the radio was on and "Dancing Queen" was played. For a long time, this was my absolute favorite song! It has been surpassed only by, "The Power in My Purse" which is a rap song. This song was performed by Lisa Kudrow in the movie "Marci X". What a sweet movie!
