What Is The Best Prank That You Ever Pulled Off?

This isn't really a "good prank" but it's one of the best due to the reaction that happened because of it...

I must have been about 10 and my sister was 4. One night we watched a horror film from the 1970s When A Stranger Calls when I found one of my dad's old VHS's. So in the movie a psycho killer calls up people on the phone after killing kids and says "Have you checked the children?"

So we decide it's a great idea to run to the phone and start calling random numbers at 9pm. I grabbed a phone book and must have called about 15-20 people saying "Have you checked the children?" or "Are your children sleeping?" and then hanging up.

Well someone was bound to call the police and they tracked the calls to our home. About maybe 10 minutes after we stopped calling we saw the reflection of police lights outside of our window and heard our doorbell ringing. My dad got the door and was saying "I don't know what you are talking about. Nobody made any phone calls."

Well then our parents called us over and I was terrified. My 4 year old sister ratted me out when she was laughing saying "we call people on phone and say we kill them. hahahahaha" And my mothers' face turned red with anger like you won't believe.

When the police knew it was a prank my sister and I got the lecture saying it's not right to make prank calls and scaring people at night.. if you do it again we will take you to jail.... all that stuff.

Well after the cops left we got into more s**t. Because of that my parents took everything out of my room except my bed and dresser for almost a year and I had no recreation time whatsoever.


I wasn't really much of a prankster but that one really almost got us all in serious trouble.

So what are your "best pranks"?

Probably when a bunch of us moved a small electric car sideways in a parking space.

Then after that, we climbed a Kentucky Fried Chicken bucket sign to see what was inside. I sat on the edge as it spinned around! btw - there's just flourescent tube lights on the inside of white plastic.

I've got a few more good pranks and practical jokes but will post them later when I have more time to type.
