maybe i should have worded this differently but i saw something on an snl message borad the other day and i was wondering how all of you feel about this story regarding the snl dvds ? here goes it seemes that a fan of the current snl eps who had never seen a full ep with the 70s cast went out and bought the first season and didnt care for them but he took a chance and bought season 2 and 3 as well took them hhome and found them boring as well but the thing i found weird was the other day he bought season 4 .now im not going to debate wich snl cast was better there could be alot of reasons why the first cast didnt appel to him but does it make any sense to keep buying eps of a show you just dont care for i mean a blind buy is one thing but to not like a show or in this case liking a show but just a different era of it it just dosent make any sense to keep buying and buying shows you dont like agree or disagree?

sounds like he's full of crap - even if you wait for the sales those sets are EX$PEN$IVE $$$ - unless he's buying them used I don't buy it.

also if he doesn't think the original is any good, he is mentally incompetent.
