My favorite is season 2, with season 1 next in line. Both of these are soooo good. The show was still grounded somewhat in reality during these seasons so that makes it more believeable. Also, the cast seemed to be having so much fun it's a pleasure to watch them.

I'd go with season 3 because of the episode with Boyce & Hart, and there were some other good moments too. Also season 4, those two seasons to me were the most funniest.

I'd have to say all of them, with more of my favorite episodes in seasons 1 and 5. No real reasons, I guess - just the storylines.

It's really hard for me to choose, but I'll go with Seasons 3, 4, or 5.

I definitely like the first two seasons best, but there are good episodes in each season. The problem with the last three seasons is they started going over the top with the visual effects and the plots of the episodes became outlandish.
Can anyone verify if there are cuts/edits to the episodes on the DVD's? I think season one is fine, but after that some episodes are questionable. I know for a fact Meet My Masters Mother, Bootsie Nightingale and The Mod Party have edits in the episodes. I think Jeannie Or The Tiger might be edited also. The running times of the episodes are not consistent, this is especially noticeable with seasons 3, 4 and 5. I suspect a number of these episodes are not complete. |

I love them all, so this is a tough one! I think I like season 2 the best since 2 of my favorite episodes ("How Do You Beat Superman" and "There Goes the Best the Jeannie I Ever Had") are in that one. Then I think seasons 3 and 4 are my next favorites.

Season 4& 5 are my favorites. I liked the show getting sillier. and I liked it when Djinn Djinn would come to visit and destroy everyone's uniforms.

I loved Season 1. Mostly all of the episodes were interesting and funny to me. I got the DVDs in black and white instead of the colorized version. I don't like those colorized version for some reason. If it was made in black and white originally, then that's the way I want to see it.

I would say Season 4 is my favorite. Although I never liked Jeannie's sister as a character, and she was a major presence seasons 3-5 and onward into sequels, Season 4 has some of my favorite eps, like "Jeannie and the Wild Pipchicks" and "Djinn, Djinn, Go Home", where Gen. Peterson wasn't above the nutty happenings as he normally is, and a couple other memorable ones like "The Biggest Star in Hollywood" (w/ the Laugh-In cast members) and "Jeannie for the Defense", which has lots of people well-known for being in other sitcoms past and future. Season 4 was also the highest-rated of all the seasons on NBC (#26 for the year), and I suspect that "The Biggest Star in Hollywood" was the highest-rated episode in the show's history, due to featuring cast members of the #1 show on tv at the time. I also love "Invisible House For Sale", which had Joan Tompkins screaming out "Where are they?" in relation to the rooms of Tony's "mansion" which were missing by then. This was at about the same time that she played Carol Brady's mom on the Brady Bunch pilot.
