About a young black ex-con woman who is befriended by a kindly old white woman. Aired on NBC off and on for a few weeks during that season. Best left forgotten--it was horrible!

I never heard of this show - but it sounds like a spinoff of Happy Days.
It probably would've been better than Joanie Loves Chachi!!
