One time I bought three candy bars after working at the grocery store all day. (This was a few years ago.) It was a long, slow, horrible day. I was major PMS-ing and really needed a big chocolately treat. They were so delicious and really brightened up my mood.
That's the story about the best dollar I ever spent

Well, aside from an amazing bottle of soda back in 2003, I guess there was the time I bought my sister a scratch off lottery ticket for her birthday and she won 1800 bucks.
That was pretty neat. |

a nativity set at dollar tree. technically each figure was $1 so collectively it was $9 all together, but the figurines are all about 10 inches in height and the quality as far as details go is remarkable for the price. the set looks like it should cost $50. i have all the figurnes except for the angel. but its still very lovely.

I bought a brand new shirt for .99. Not sure if that was the *best* but I thought it was pretty damn good considering it was a $20 shirt.

Since I buy and resale on eBay, There are many times when $1 has been well spent. I bought 2 45 rpm records at a garage sale for $1 and sold one to a guy in the U.K. for $250.00. I bought a role-playing game similar to Dungeons and Dragons at Goodwill for $1 and sold it for $400.00. I've bought several concert tour shirts for $1 each and resold them from $10 and higher depending on the artist. Original vintage tour shirts are a goldmine when found but unfortunately, alot of them are being reproduced. These are only a few examples but you get the idea.

the best dollar i've ever spent was most likely food related. lol. i've gotten three candy bars for a buck when i was having a crappy day and was in some SERIOUS need of chocolate. mcdonald's cheeseburgers are a wonderful way to spend a dollar as well.

A long time ago, I got a huge, Madonna poster (circa 'Vogue') that was backed with cardboard and sealed in plastic from an Everything Is A Buck Store.
