Default Joost.com officially SUCKS!!!

So, apparently, they are no longer posting full episodes of "FOL" on Joost.com. Just now when I looked up "FOL" and saw that more videos have been added, I was overjoyed because I honestly thought more full episodes have been added. Instead I get only a few episodes that have been up there for ages and a bunch of stupid minisodes. Then there were all these stupid unrelated TV shows and clips that came up, even episodes of "Mad TV" and that "Beverly Hills 90210" crap!! And they keep telling me that they are definately putting up more full episodes of the show, and so far NOTHING!!!!! They're a bunch of friggin' liars!! And their players still don't work properly!! Being that the show will not be continued on DVD, there's like no way of ever seeing the entire series ever again. This sucks BIG TIME!!!!

You should try VeOh.com, they have uncut season 4 & 5 episodes!

Yeah and it's the whole episode on one video, not in parts like YT .

I saw, but the guy who's been posting them seemed to stop for some reason. Now I just got an email from Joost saying we will no longer be able to view any videos on the software, but we can still find videos on the site. Uh...I have no idea what this means, but if they take away any of the videos (mainly the "FOL" episodes) or our ability to view them, I will personally sue the pants off those jerks!!

Don't give up on the dvds just yet. I have a feeling it will be picked up again. Sony has received many messages from us fans requesting more seasons of the show on dvd. I think they will be getting back into it now that some of their other shows (I Dream Of Jeannie, The Partridge Family, etc.) are complete or nearing completion.

OMG, you can view them on the site now? Yesssssssss! That software worked like crap on my computer and I couldn't view any of the videos (apparently it was due to my antivirus program; it was blocking Joost from working ) but now I'm on the site and can watch the videos right away, like YT . They haven't taken away any of the FOL episodes and that's great because I haven't watched any from there yet and the majority of my favorites are there! This is awesome! WOOOOOOO! lol
I know what I'm doing over break now. Three words. Long. Overdue. Marathon .

No worries, brownie. They're only doing away with the crappy software we used to have to download in order to watch the videos. This is I believe effective tomorrow, or after tomorrow. But nothing to worry about. They also said they are trying to get in more "FOL" episodes, full-length and unedited. And Veoh is pretty cool also. Both Joost and Veoh are a million times better than youtube if you ask me. Don't say Joost sucks, because they do alot of great work on that site and they keep improving on it.

I just get annoyed because for a while there someone was posting all the episodes on youtube, then he said he was discontinuing the youtube stuff and was moving over the Veoh, but he still hasn't posted anymore episodes on there and no one can get through to him. Then Joost suddenly stops all the full episodes and instead focuses on "How I Met Your Mother" and all the newer crap clogging the airwaves now. You told me they are trying to get more episodes, well that's a load, because they said that they were definately getting more episodes up starting somewhere in September. Well, it's December now...WHERE ARE THE EPISODES?!?!?!?!?! Then Sony makes a bunch of empty promises to get the rest of the series out on DVD...keep in mind, people, that they said several years ago that they were coming out with a full DVD boxed set, including the three movies. This was after season 3 came out. Then what happens?!?!?!?! They decide to discontinue the series and rather than come out with the full DVD set like they promised, they release the entire "Seinfeld" (CRAPfeld) series on DVD, despite the whole Michael Richards/Kramer racial tirade!! Then they said they were pulling the plug on anymore "Facts of Life" and "Diff'rent Strokes"!!! Same with Lifetime...get this...after saying they were adding "Facts" to their morning lineup along with "Golden Girls" starting January, instead they're adding "How I Met Your Mother" AND supposedly getting rid of "Golden Girls"!!! I know it's odd for a young guy like me to get all hung up over a couple of shows from the '80s about ladies, but these shows, unlike the smut that's on TV now, are great quality shows!!! And how on earth "HIMYM", one of the most misogynyst degrading-to-women crap shows ever on TV today, is being aired on Lifetime Television For Women is beyond me!!! Sorry....I guess it pisses me off to no end that just as I was rediscovering "Facts of Life" and "Diff'rent Strokes" some jerk either from Sony, Viacom, or some youtube jerk decides to take all the episodes down while keeping full episodes of "Gossip Girl" and "CRAPfeld"!!!

Um, have you been there lately? He/she has posted plenty of new episodes .
For me, especially now since I can view videos on the site, Joost doesn't suck. Yes, I wish that they would add more, but what can you or any of us do really?
Here's something that sucks: We have this local channel in the Chicago area where I live called ME-TOO (there's also another one called ME-TV), which used to show FOL at 9:30 in the morning. Since ME-TOO is a digital channel, I'm not able to watch it without a converter box hooked up to our old antenna TV (the one in my parents' bedroom; we have satellite TV aka Directv everywhere else in our house). I kept begging my parents to get our converter box so that I could watch FOL on ME-TOO but here's the crappy part; it just got taken off that channel a few days ago and get this; it got replaced with paid programming as in infomercials. Talk about sucky! I would've understood if another show replaced it (I still would've been mad, but I would've understood it) but paid programming? WTF is that? THAT is something that sucks. I'm just glad I found out about it on here before begging my parents even more to get our converter box (although we'll need it anyway for the DTV transition later).

Joost and Veoh are really cool, especially since they post the full uncut episodes and are much better than youtube because they don't section it. But I can sort of understand what brownie's talking about because the person posting the episodes take forever, especially on Joost, who hasn't added on any "Facts" episodes since last summer. But Veoh's been pretty steady with the episodes. Let's just hope Sony or Viacom doesn't come down on either site making them remove any episodes.

I pretty much live on Joost and Veoh, especially Veoh since new ones seem to come out on a weekly basis. I'm with you on both of them being better than YouTube because it's the full episode and not posted in parts. On YT, watching a half hour episode took me almost an hour because I had to wait for the video to load. You don't have to worry about that on Joost or Veoh .

Actually, it's now been three weeks since any new episodes have been added on Veoh. I tried contacting the person uploading the episodes and they haven't gotten back to me yet.

Yeah, but these are all the episodes that have been up there for the past 12 months. It's been ages since they've put anymore up. Now they're putting up full episodes of crappy shows like "Friends". And that dufus on Veoh who WAS putting up full uncut episodes from season 5 obviously suddenly decided to stop putting any up. I know comcast has been fairly regular with their episodes, but this jerk's holding them up for some reason. Me and a bunch of other "FOL" fans who have been patiently waiting for more episodes have been contacting him asking him why more episodes haven't been posted and he hasn't gotten back to us. We asked him very nicely, but he doesn't get back to us. See...maybe if Sony wasn't so busy treating "Seinfeld" and "Two and a Half Men" like royalty, us "FOL" and "DS" fans would be alot happier and wouldn't feel the need to urge online video posters to keep posting episodes.

Why do you feel the need to call this guy a dufus and jerk when he/she is not even obligated to even uploading these episodes for you guys? They're doing it out of kindness.

I used to upload tons of FOL episodes I recorded from N@N and then I encountered ungrateful pushy fans like you and stopped doing it. Why can't you guys see when you act that childish, you blow it for other fans? I hope this guy/girl who uploads those episodes, reads this thread and actually does stop. Did you ever stop and think that maybe this person has a life and can't cater to spoiled rotten FOL fans?
