Mindy's Permed Hair During Last Few Seasons - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I've never watched the last few seasons of Mork & Mindy before I saw it on the marathon. I couldn't believe the poodle perm that Mindy had during those seasons!

Did anyone else like her hair better during the earlier seasons?

I preferred her earlier looks as well -- long and straight. Pam has very good hair.

When Kalnik and Mork were about to fight at the at the weight loss clinic, Mindy tried to pump Mork up by telling him to think of things that made him mad, his response was "faucets that drip and your perm."

I agree with you there, as Erin Moran became taller and thinner, and that style seemed to be almost overpowering. We never did get to see her with her hair down once it got longer following the earliest seasons, as she was wearing it pulled back prior to the perm.

Joanie later went to a shorter style for the final seasons -- which was maybe too severe a cut (though not as unlikely as her poodle look for representing a character of the early '60s).

Those were the days of bag perms for sure! Actually I liked her hair either way and it was becoming "the style" to have.

I agree - Joannie's was a lot worse - along with that Brillo Pad Mike Brady sported!!

She had gorgeous hair!! Thankfully, it was long and straight again on My Sister Sam.

Actually I think she still had that perm on "My sister Sam," just not as big.

Personally, I didn't like the perm at all on her even though it was the style then. It was way too big and it made her look way older. I preferred her straight hair and the shorter wavy deal she had going on just before she got the perm.
