Hey guys. I haven't been on here in like, a million years.
So the topic I bring to all of you is this: What is an appropriate gift to get an ex boyfriend for his birthday? Or, is it appropriate to even get anything at all for an ex? And I'm sure this question will come up later so I'll get it out of the way now: Yes, I'm still madly in love with my ex. Sigh. Not to mention he just got himself a new girlfriend like two days ago. I do indeed want him back. He and I remained good friends and he has admitted he still loves me...okay I'm getting a bit more personal than I had intended to haha so anyways, I'd appreciate any suggestions.

hah, understandable...my ex and i are still in love as well, and he's married.
since you guys are still good friends, there's definitely nothing wrong with buying him gifts. as far as what's appropriate, i don't think there should be any limit other than don't make it romantic of course. just anything he would like, maybe cd's of a band he likes. i got my ex a set of beethoven cd's for christmas a few years ago and he loved it. that's the only gift i've gotten for him though since he's hard to shop for and has said that all he really wants is my friendship. |

He still loves you and is MARRIED? Oh god I don't even know what I'd do! Haha but yeah I thought about CDs. His favorite band is this heavy metal band called Opeth. The thing is, he's also a total computer nerd, therefore he downloads music all the time and probably already has all the CDs on his computer already. But eh, what the heck, it's the thought that counts I guess so maybe I will get him a CD!

since you guys are still friends, i think it'd be a good idea to get him something. guys are so hard to shop for though. a cd would be a good idea, maybe a dvd of a movie or a show he likes. you can always give him a gift receipt with it, in case he has it already.

A gift certificate to a car wash place or a restaurant would be a good gift.
